Margo Stankova made my vision come to life. She made me a beautiful, unique wedding dress which made me feel confident and worthy of loads of photographs on the day! From choosing the fabric to design to fittings, she was with me every step of the way. I cannot recommend her enough. Why get something from a factory when you can have this amazing artist give you something truly your own? Thanks for everything Margo!

Really enjoyed working with Margo to create my ideal dress. Being involved in choosing the fabrics and offering great fabric options, was excellent. The final product was stunning and I enjoyed wearing it. When you consider designer off-the-rail dresses, Margo is superb value for money. I would say, given her professionalism, very skilled pattern design and sewing, Margo is actually priceless. Highly recommended!

From the moment I read Margo’s philosophy on her website I knew she was the right designer for me – ‘a luxurious but practical wedding dress that expresses the personality of the lady that wears it, without necessarily serving other people's perceptions or traditions’. That’s exactly how Margo works – she took all of my ideas on board, combined them with her own creativity, created the perfect vision and turned it into reality – my gorgeous 3-piece wedding ensemble. Her patience and pragmatism were invaluable as we searched through endless fabric shops looking for that perfect shade of silver, the not-too-flowery beading, and when I found the ideal trim for the neckline she adapted the design around that and added it to the cape (which I’ll wear forever). She was responsive to all of my requests, never compromised on quality, and negotiated the best prices on my behalf. When I showed her the jeans I was going to change into for the evening, she whipped out a needle and thread and stitched the extra lace from the top onto the pockets. Margo was absolutely brilliant to work with – her flexibility and ‘can-do’ attitude made the process so much easier and fun than I could have ever anticipated, and I couldn’t have asked for a more stunning result. Her sole objective is to make you look and feel amazing on your wedding day – and I did. Thank you Margo!!

Margo is amazingly talented and made what can only be described as the dress of my dreams a reality. She made the entire process so simple, from advising on fabrics right through to the smallest of details during the fitting process, such as adding a loop on the train which meant I could hold it up when walking un-aided. On my special day, the dress not only fit like a glove but the attention to detail made it a showstopper which everyone commented on. I only wish I could wear it every day! Margo is first and foremost an amazing designer and dress maker. She recently made my wedding dress, and I couldn't be happier with the finished result. I enjoyed the process from designing the dress together, to buying the material, to changing the design a bit, to having it fitted, and having it fitted again with the finishing touches. Margo was helpful, flexible and relaxed every step of the way. What I thought would be a daunting task actually turned out to be really enjoyable! It was so easy and quick - within 3 short visits over a 6 week period I had walked away with my dress. Margo is an absolute delight - and made me feel so sexy and gave me the confidence to be bold and unusual when many others thought going gold might be 'a bit much'. We chatted and shared photos regularly as she made suggestions for shoes, jewellery, hair do's and generally making the whole process fun. I am thrilled with the dress and loved to be a non-white bride on the day, and hopefully people will remember that it wasn't just another white dress.

One of the most unique things about our wedding was my dress reveal. I never thought I'd want anything so different and dramatic...until I bought the wrong dress! Before it had even arrived I'd already decided that I wasn't going to wear it but I put on a brave face while frantically searching for something that felt more like me. I contacted Margo Stankova and she created something that was so much more than I was expecting. It turned out ridiculously perfect. I kept it a secret from everyone. They all thought I was going to wear the original dress right until they saw me come down in the pink sequinned one. It was such a great moment! Thank you!

I knew fairly early on that I didn’t want a white dress, and after trying on a couple, my suspicions were confirmed: they just weren’t my thing. I’d been mentioning the idea of a subtle gold dress to a few friends and my cousin sent me a picture of someone she knew who got married in a pink sequinned dress. I immediately knew that I wanted pretty much the same thing in bright gold. I contacted the dress designer and maker Margo Stankova immediately and booked an appointment to see her. She was an absolute delight: she helped me design the dress to my liking and, of course, made it beautifully with perfect details, such as allowing me to button up the train in such a way that I could dance! The biggest challenge was keeping my mouth shut about it – I knew Patrick would absolutely adore it and I was so excited for him to see it on the day.
