Dandelions & Pearls

Having worked on various photography projects in the past for Bev and Lyns, I knew how incredible their designs were, and how much effort and love they put into each garment they created. It was only natural that I should choose Dandelions and Pearls to make my wedding dress - in fact, there was no one else I would have wanted to make the most special dress of my life. I found a grainy, behind-the-scenes picture of January Jones on the set of Mad Men in a cut scene from the show, in a beautiful chiffon cocktail gown with a beaded cummerbund and instantly fell in love with it. This HAD to be my wedding dress. I sent the image to Lynsey so she could create this, with shoulder ‘wings’ Lynsey made everything so easy and effortless, always kept me in the loop with how things were progressing, showed me various samples of fabric and appliqués, and a made a mock up of the dress in simple fabric to ensure the fit, cut and drape were perfect before she moved on to the fabric we had chosen. I chose a challenging dress and tricky fabric, but Lynsey pulled it off, she more than pulled it off - she created the dress of my dreams and so much more! I was emotional when I went to view the completed dress. It absolutely took my breath away. It fit like a dream and I felt like January Jones herself as Betty Draper! I am so in awe of Lynsey’s talent - the dress is perfect - I cannot even write any words to do it justice, or Lynsey herself. I was so proud of the work she did, I made sure I introduced her to my wedding guests so they would know who made such a work of art! Lynsey and Bev are such lovely people, who really care about what they do. They become emotionally involved in the process too, so you develop a lovely relationship with them. I knew I wasn’t the type of bride to have a traditional wedding, and they totally got that. Thank you to Dandelions and Pearls for such an incredible wedding dress - you made the process of planning my wedding so much easier as I trusted everything Lynsey suggested and was happy to accept her creative input. She even helped me to pick my wedding shoes

OH MY GOD!!!! This is honestly the most beautiful dress on the face of the planet!!! It fits like a glove and makes me feel like a goddess. Although it’s meant for my wedding, I will wear it for many more occasions because I feel so lovely in it. Lynsey was an absolute treasure to work with! Not only did she customize my order with the fabric and embellishments that I wanted, but she also customised my sizing and remained perfectly communicative throughout the whole process. I will DEFINITELY be shopping with her for as long as humanly possible. I cannot emphasis enough how glorious her craftsmanship is and how wonderful she is to work with. 1000% recommend her. Forever and always!
