We could not have been happier with our cake and the entire experience. The morning of the wedding, it wasn’t the decorations or table settings I was sneaking a peak of, I was trying to get a look at the cake because I was so excited to see our vision come to life. It was more than we could have ever imagined and I honestly can’t describe how pleased we were.

From our first appointment to discuss ideas and try some cake, we knew that we would have a wonderfully tasting showstopper cake. We were clueless what we wanted at the start, but Nicola worked tirelessly to design and make something stunning and unique. Our original wedding date was August 2020 but we had 4 different dates and a venue change by the time we got married in August 2022. Nicola’s patience and professionalism was outstanding throughout the whole process and our cake was outstanding!

We chose Nicola for our wedding based on her Instagram feed. We were really taken by the beauty of her cakes and the intricacy of her sugar flowers. We really wanted a show stopper of a cake and decided if she was able to craft such beautiful flowers then she should be able to achieve what we hoped for. We were NOT disappointed. Our cake(s) was more than what we'd hoped for and nothing like any of our guests had seen before!

Nicola at Boutique Bakery was so great to work with. She was prompt at replying to emails, sent us many cake tastings and met with us to discuss our design. She was always very helpful and friendly. Her cakes are absolutely perfect, incredibly tasty but also the most beautiful designs. Her sugar flowers could easily be mistaken as being real and her icing doesn’t have a single fault. She made our cake gluten free for us and you would never know. All of our cake was eaten and our guests loved it.

Words cannot explain how much we loved our wedding cake thanks to Nicola! Not only was it beautiful to look at, it was so delicious. Our friends & family loved the cake & still talk about it now! I don’t think I’ve ever loved a cake more. Nicola is one of the nicest people ever & nothing is ever too much. She understood my allergy, our vision & what we wanted even after a few changes! Will always recommend Nicola to everyone!
