Wharfedale Grange wedding for multicultural couple as they exit to confetti

Wharfedale Grange Wedding With Hindu Blessing

Photography by  Sarah Taylor Photo and Film

Sarah & Michael had an Indian fusion celebration at Wharfedale Grange wedding venue in Yorkshire. With a civil ceremony and Hindu blessing under thousands of twinkling fairy lights, Sarah & Michael embraced each other and their cultures. Recommended Venue, Wharfedale Grange, was the perfect backdrop. The couple also chose a mix of music and food to reflect both of their upbringings. The couple had a choreographed first dance, which Sarah changed into a short wedding reception dress for! There’s so much happiness and fun all captured beautifully so Sarah & Michael can always fondly look back at this special day.

Our first dance, which we had choreographed, was one of the highlights for us. Only a select few people knew that we had been learning a routine in secret so when the performance started, all our guests were in wonderful shock and the room exploded. A moment we’ll never, ever forget.

Wharfedale Grange Wedding

One of the most memorable aspects for Sarah & Michael (and for their guests) was the blend of English and Indian culture throughout their wedding. The couple wanted a multicultural wedding day that celebrated who they are. Sarah & Michael focused on making the day completely individual to them. Music and food were also very important to the couple. So they picked options that most guests would never have experienced before. With traditional Indian food and burger sliders, all we can say is yum! The theme and styling embraced the traditional Yorkshire vibes with a touch of Indian glam. The greenery and rustic charm of the Wharfedale Grange wedding venue catered to the couple’s Yorkshire roots, whilst the hints of gold and touches of luxury fed into the Indian culture.
