I was hugely inspired by the venue, Torr Vale Mill. It is such a raw incredible space steeped in industrial history. Its bare stone walls, towering chimney, huge windows and layers upon layers of flaking paint all tell a story of its magnificent past.

INSPIRATION

Creatively I wanted to show that not everything beautiful must be perfect. Torr Vale Mill is a very unique space and I wanted to show it at its full potential. The venue paved the way effortlessly for some powerful and wonderful show-stopping photos.

DREAMY

We had a dreamy daytime look with a fabulous Maggie Sottero wedding dress from SAS Bridal. This really complemented the romance of the shoot and worked perfectly with the real butterflies and fine art florals.

Not everything beautiful is perfect.

The second look had a more edgy vibe. I wanted it to feel strong and powerful yet elegant. We had a stunning gown from Georgia Bridal with statement sleeves. We also chose a bolder lip colour to create a really striking look. The aim was to create a juxtaposition between high-end elegance and the industrial rawness of the venue.
