One thing we’re never opposed to? A small wedding in London. There’s just something about those city vibes that make it feel a hell of a lot bigger than it is. And we love it. Katie & Jose changed their wedding plans when the pandemic hit, and whittled their guest list down to 30 people, but they wouldn’t have had it any other way. With a romantic and classic vibe, this gorgeous couple said their I-do’s and spent the day surrounded by their nearest and dearest. We love how each photo (captured by Recommended Supplier, Elena Popa Photography), really conveys the happiness of the day - just look at all those smiles!
As for many couples in 2020 we had to totally rethink our wedding, we had a big wedding planned in Seville with all our friends and family, but in the end we had to whittle this down to 30 people in London. Ironically, it was this change in plans that actually made our wedding so unique. It ended up being wonderfully personal and intimate, with a beautifully spontaneous feel.Katie & Jose
The vibe of the day was romantic, classic, and very relaxed and natural. The venue (Burgh House) is a beautiful old house next to Hampstead Heath, so there was this beautifully natural and classical British feel, not too structured or formal.
Our favourite moment was most probably sharing our vows with each other in this wonderfully intimate space with just our closest family and friends. We had each taken time to write very personal vows, so it was a very emotional moment.
Go with the flow! This was our biggest learning. We had our plans turned upside down, but we went with the flow, but it resulted in a very beautiful, if not even more special day.Katie & Jose
