An Oxford Town Hall wedding is always perfect in our eyes - and we just cannot get enough of Chris & Callum! Through three separate postponements, they finally said their I-do’s on the 12th of September. With 26 guests, they spent their day surrounded by those closest to them in an intimate and cosy wedding. Their venue was decorated with white flowers, Chinese lanterns, and an instagram-worthy flower wall! (Seriously, where can we get one of those?) Oh, and their tuxedos? Perfection.
The ceremony was just so overwhelming. To think we finally got married after all the prior cancellations. Despite everyone wearing masks on the day, we just felt surrounded by love. The ceremony feels like it goes so fast so enjoy it and take it in.Chris & Callum
Ultimately it’s your day, and you do what you want. It’s easy to be swayed by friends or family, but remember what’s important to both of you and everyone will support whatever you choose.
We wanted everyone to be comfortable - it felt like a big family dinner! Acoustic music in the background, great food, great memories. With no bride (who would normally be wearing white), we decided to wear black tuxedos to try and look as dapper as we could.
Always establish what’s important to you. We set a smaller budget than what our original day was going to be, so it allowed us to be more focused on what really mattered. We knew a quality photographer was high on our list of must-haves, and we ended up with two amazing ones on the day. Those photos will last a lifetime!Chris & Callum
We have a new found appreciate for small ceremonies (especially after this year), and an Oxford Town Hall wedding is positively idyllic; those cobbled streets - lush! Take a look at this intimate Oxford wedding, complete with a first look moment. Or how about stepping through the wardrobe and into CS Lewis House in Oxford? It really does not get more picture perfect than that…
