Beautiful bride Nikki in her Grace Loves Lace Gia gown, and Groom Lewis in his turned up trousers and braces from Topman are the epitome of cool at their tropical destination wedding at Nice Sea Resort, Koh Phangan Thailand. Planned, styled and executed to perfection by Nadine at Phangan Weddings they had the perfect beach ceremony, a reception lit by hundreds of fairy lights and some of the most beautiful portraits by wedding directory supplier Carla Blain Photography. This is honestly the stuff of dreams, and to quote the bride “there’s nothing better than saying I do with sand between your toes!” Just lovely.

Bridal Fashion

Nikki the Bride: As a destination bride I struggled to find a wedding dress suitable for a Thailand wedding and after dragging my family from shop to shop I decided to look online for something more specific. It was then I discovered the most perfect “Gia” Grace Loves Lace gown!! The long trip to the London store with my Maid of honour was all worth while when I tried it on. The light weight lace was just what I had been searching for. The hair vine worn was from a local Shropshire boutique called “Bubbles in a tea cup” the owner Nikki was a dream to buy from! My jewellery, (necklace and earring set) are gifts off my sisters from PANDORA, given to me on the morning of the wedding. Given the soft white sand, shoes we’re not required, there’s nothing better than saying I do with sand between your toes!

Grooms Fashion and Accessories

The groom, like all men, was quite last minute and sourced his suit from the high street store Topman just days before the flight, he teamed it with braces and a rust orange dickie bow.

Venue

Nice Sea Resort, Koh Phangan Thailand, this resort is owned by great family friends, myself and Lewis are lucky enough to be the only couple to have ever been married on this piece of paradise, and it was everything we had wished for and more!

Colour Scheme

We kept the colour theme fresh and timeless with mainly ivory with just accents of orange throughout the flowers.

Decor & Styling

I chose to work with a wedding planning team that was based on the island of Koh Phangan “Phangan Weddings”. Nadine, my wedding planner was highly experienced and knew where I could source every last detail of the wedding, from the legal arrangements through to the ceremony music, her support was invaluable and thanks to her the wedding ran smoothly and was faultless!

All credit must go to the very talented “Carla Blain Photography”. Carla is UK based however she is passionate about all weddings wether they are local or destinations all over the globe! Carla has an eye for capturing raw emotion and certainly achieved this at our wedding, In my opinion this was money well spent, now we can enjoy our day all over again whenever we get the album out.
