Charlotte & Neil’s wedding day was just so full of love! The couple got engaged in 2019 but a global pandemic and two babies later, they re-planned their wedding three times. Five years on, Charlotte & Neil could finally have their special day and oh, was it worth the wait! Not only because this wedding is beautiful but because Charlotte & Neil could experience their day with their kids by their side with the help of the talented Recommended Supplier, Rose Nannies. The couple tied the knot at Clapton Country Club, which they decorated with fun pink wedding balloons. The bridal party wore mismatched pink bridesmaid dresses to fit the colour palette! According to our sources, no one could stop crying, and the best men cried all day! It’s just such a pleasure to share such a wonderful day captured by the equally as wonderful Recommended Supplier, Carrie Lavers Photography.
A massive shout-out to the musicians on the day. We had Solas String - an incredible trio quartet playing music at our drinks reception. Soul Factor, our band, STOLE THE SHOW as they performed in the evening - the garage remix was insane and a highlight for us! We didn't have enough time to create a photo wall, so we visited charity shops the week before the wedding and collected a bunch of frames that we popped family photos in and displayed inside the ceremony room. Our amazing artist friend Alma Singer designed all the signage on the day, table favours (badges), and names on the menus.

Charlotte & Neil have lived in London since their early twenties, so it made sense to choose a venue like Clapton Country Club - a quirky, vibrant space that is beautiful inside and out! Plus, there’s no doubt that planning a wedding with kids is no easy task, so Charlotte & Neil knew they needed a super cool London location to get married in to give them a no-fuss wedding! The couple wanted a bright, fun wedding with colours and unique decorations. They did this with colourful ribbons and balloons. The venue itself has incredible foliage as well as a huge silver disco ball, which Charlotte & Neil added to by using colourful flowers and misshaped vases to create that eccentric vibe.
For Charlotte & Neil, having their children at the wedding was something they wouldn't have changed for the world. Their daughter wore a blue ribbon for Charlotte’s something blue and their son wore a green suit to match his dad’s. Their daughter watched their first dance to Simply The Best by Tina Turner, which they had practised as a family. Adorable! During the ceremony, their two-year-old son ran down the aisle shouting “Daddy, look" whilst holding a sweet and their four-year-old daughter and her cousins looked beautiful leading the bridal party. The master of ceremonies sang and played the guitar to Wonderwall by Oasis during the signing of the register. Every guest sang with him in a huge sing-along - what an incredible moment!
If you are getting married with kids, we hugely recommend having a wedding nanny on the day. We hired the incredible Rose Nannies and they gave us the breathing space Neil and I needed as a couple and also ensured the kids had the best day!
