The perm is back! Yes, you heard us. Trendy '70s shag cuts are having a social media revival revival, and Emma Corrin's performance as Princess Diana in The Crown has brought back cropped curls in a big way. When it comes to hair, we're getting Lady Di chic crossed with Woodstock glam from this shoot by Emma Ryan. If you want to chop off your grown out lockdown locks, read on for short curly wedding hair inspiration!
We couldn't possibly show you a great wedding barnet without a barn to go with it now could we? This shoot took place at Sedgewell Barn, an up and coming venue in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.
The concept of this shoot was to concentrate on the pure romance of a wedding, using the intimacy of the space and working with the aesthetic of an exposed brick barn.Emma Ryan Photography
Not one, but TWO gowns from Pronovias' 2021 collection were used for this shoot (we're not drooling, you're drooling!). For any bride wanting a day-to-night wedding outfit, that's the beauty of a detachable skirt or cape. The groom's dapper tailored suit from Dandy Threads is modern and stylish, with just a hint of countryside farmer.
Short wedding hair is a great statement look, with minimal effort. To achieve this particular choppy bridal hairstyle, a mixture of Schwarzkopf Pro's Tame Wild cream and Texturising Volume Spray by Label.m was used. Subtle makeup shades of apricot and pink let the bouncing mane do all the talking.
Each wedding story is different and unique, but it's not dependant on a certain venue type or how you’ve styled your day, it's all about you and the happiness of your day.Emma Ryan Photography
