What Made Our Day Unique
My uncle played the saxophone for our first dance, my husband's auntie read a poem she wrote herself and my mum's best friend (who introduced my dad to my mum) did a reading. I wanted it to be a real feeling of all the people in our lives involved. Personalised confetti cones for the shower and sparklers in the evening! We had personalised perspex nameplates for guests which also served as favours. We had personalised activity boxes for the kids at the wedding, which went down well with the parents! Cupcakes and sweets table which were of course personalised!Rebecca & Seyi
Crockwell Farm, in Northamptonshire, was the chosen venue for this Spring wedding and was decorated with hanging hoops and wooden wedding signs. The tables were littered with foliage and florals that were seasonal and in keeping with the time of year, with hints of the dusty blue shade that was apparent throughout the day. The groom carried on this colour theme in his outfit, donning a blue bow tie with a patterned dinner jacket! What a stylish couple!
Inspiration & Styling
I wanted it to be a relaxed boho chic feel, with slight classic touches. We settled on the colour of dusty blue which I felt would complement our spring wedding, I think it's such a delicate and romantic colour. I wanted the day to be filled with little personal touches for us and our guests. Pinterest was my kryptonite and I got most of my inspiration from there! We wanted to keep the flowers quite green, full and leafy with accents of our dusty blue running through.Rebecca & Seyi
This couple chose to carry on the foliage theme through the hanging hoop decor in the marquee. If you love a hanging hoop and need some inspiration for your big day we have much more for you amongst our other featured real weddings, including this rustic celebration in Somerset.
