Alex & Suzie’s beautifully botanical West Green House Garden wedding is just what you need to see today! Surrounded by beautiful florals, grapevines hanging overhead and plenty of colour, this beautiful couple said their I-do’s. Their styling inspiration was a Spring/Summer vibe, and we love the whimsical feel throughout their wedding. Sharing a passion for the outdoors and literature, they honoured this love with a classic book to mark each table and a vintage typewriter on the card table. Each aspect was perfectly captured by Recommended Supplier, HS Photography, who happens to have known Suzie for 16 years! Rock My Wedding was a source for a lot of inspiration and our mutual friend, HS Photography, was a perfect fit. She was there at every moment and made us feel so relaxed and special.

Botanical and literary classics are our vibe. West Green House Gardens was the perfect setting for our celebration and suited us to a T. You felt intrigued to explore, it was not just one confined space and we could all venture out into the gardens. Having an outside/inside feel felt so different to the norm and whimsical. Styling and inspiration was inspired by Spring/Summer and books! In keeping with the setting, we really didn't need to try too hard to blend the lines between luxury, romantic and quaint which helped to inform the colour scheme of dusky pink, forest green and gold.
Wow, 'a moment'! Tricky... one of our favourite moments from the day was the ceilidh band as it involved everyone all at once. It brought people together and was so wonderfully chaotic that it served as the perfect ice breaker and an excellent way of transitioning towards the evening. Couples dancing into each other, then into group formations - it was such a laugh. Sounds otherwise daunting but we were so impressed with the party's enthusiasm and stamina from young to old. For once the adults had more energy than the kids.
Our advice would be to put aside some time for yourselves during the day, to keep things relatively simple and avoid too many moving pieces that could add to the stress of it all and ultimately lead to the day slipping away too quickly. Trust that everything will fall into place on the day.

This beautiful West Green House wedding is giving us all those Spring vibes we just love! We’ve got plenty more greenhouse inspiration (which includes a dog in a tuxedo). Not to mention the fact we have an entire roundup of glass house wedding venues for you to peruse…
