Prestwold Hall

We wanted to write and say a huge thank you to you and the whole team at Prestwold Hall for hosting our wedding day on the 25th September this year – we can honestly say it was the best day of our lives. Everything was absolutely perfect, and especially Prestwold Hall itself – we knew from the moment we first visited that we wanted to get married there and we didn’t even visit any other venues, we were so sure. It is just such a beautiful house and everyone has always been so welcoming, so helpful and so kind, from that first visit, to the food and wine tasting evening, to all the email correspondence along the way, and to the day itself. On the day, nothing was too much trouble and the hall felt like a home from home. We have had endless compliments from our guests on everything from the wonderful team, who were endlessly attentive, to the comfortable bedrooms, to the beautiful grounds, and of course, to the food (how could we forget the amazing food...!) Even right up to the moment we left you couldn’t do enough for us – Lucy was cutting up our leftover cake and individually wrapping slices in cling film in the lobby, so our families could take portions home! There were so much little touches which surprised us along the way – you set up garden games for us on the lawn, allowed us to use your easels and cake stand, and even helped to set up on the morning for us – all aspects of attention which made our day much easier, which is really all you can ask for when organising and setting up a wedding.

Dear event’s team, we cannot thank you enough for everything you did to make our wedding reception so amazing. From our initial meeting with you through to planning the final details, and the day itself you have been continually professional, friendly and attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and you made the planning process so easy for us. On the day itself you looked after us and our guests so well, the food and drinks were amazing, and we felt totally relaxed in your capable hands. Our guests were so impressed by the Hall and the grounds and thought the food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding. We would not think twice about recommending you to any of our friends.

The biggest thank you for hosting our dream wedding day. From the moment we looked around the venue we were blown away and knew it was the venue for us. Thank you for remaining hopeful and optimistic during the pandemic and keeping in regular contact with us, keeping us assured. On the actual wedding day itself, the team and venue delivered more than what we could have ever of wished for. Tracy and the event coordinators on the day & evening in particular were fantastic. The food was outstanding and all our guests have said they have never tasted pork like it! A huge thank you to the chef. A big thank you to the waitress and waiters also, who made sure we were well looked after. We feel so lucky to have had our wedding day at Prestwold hall. Thank you for helping us have the best day of our lives and making it a day we will never forget.
