Wedding Temporary Tattoos at Multicultural Wedding

Photography by Cassandra Lane Photography

If you’re looking for entertainment, then wedding temporary tattoos are always a good idea. Especially when they’re a portrait of the bride & groom! Although, you may have some explaining to do at work the following day… anyway… Bethany & Sam were married at Recommended Supplier venue, Plas Dinam, in a beautifully colourful day. Cassandra Lane Photography was on hand to capture each moment, alongside DJ Clare Powell from Wedding Jam, providing all the tunes! Bethany looks absolutely stunning in her chic lace Marylise Bridal wedding dress, complete with celestial earrings from Garter & Veil. We wanted to make up for having postponed our wedding twice by throwing a big party that celebrated our unique cultures. We offered everyone a shot of Guyana's famous El Dorado rum on entry to the reception and provided a buffet of Malaysian food so everyone could taste the delicious food from Sam's Peranakan heritage.

VIBE & STYLING

The vibes of Bethany & Sam’s day were fun, party and love. They wanted everyone to have a good time as people travelled to celebrate with them, so they wanted it to be worth their while! Bright colours were used within the flower arch, neon sign, and bridesmaid dresses. They opted for a multitude of colours as they didn’t want a block appearance which such a large number of bridesmaids. They also incorporated the colour scheme within their stationery, wedding signs and cake! A cohesive look throughout your wedding day can be achieved through little aspects, just like Bethany & Sam. They're also the perfect example of a mismatched colour scheme working so well!

ADVICE

Sam & Bethany were all about enjoying the process, believing in making it your own and not feeling as though you have to be conventional! Also, ask friends to help, as they will be more than happy to contribute to the day (we promise!) Bethany & Sam had a photographer, photo booth and Polaroid cameras available, meaning they could capture each aspect. They also suggest having a friend on hand to record the speeches and giving your phone to a bridesmaid or friend to manage. This is so you're not answering questions all day long via text! And if in doubt, book the band and buy the shoes, because it's worth it!

Wedding temporary tattoos are a fun way to incorporate a little light entertainment within your day.  Wedding favours can be as different as you want them to be. We’re also loving Sam & Bethany’s colour choices, which is just proof you don’t need to shy away from bright and bold. We’re also loving their planning advice and on-the-day coordination, such as giving your phone to a bridesmaid for help!
