Disco Ball Wedding Decor

Photography by Will Patrick Weddings

Amanda and Paul made their whole wedding sparkle with fairy lights, giant disco ball wedding decor and miniature disco ball favours. They also added pampas grass and contemporary wedding stationery and signs and kept a crisp monochrome wedding theme running throughout. The speeches were emotional, the dance floor stayed full and there were even late-night cheese toasties to keep everyone fuelled.

What Made Your Day Unique

Paul has a huge family so we always knew our wedding would be a BIG party – we had almost 250 guests, with lots flying into London from Ireland. I chose to have all my closest girlfriends and sister as bridesmaids – there was an epic team of 11! They all looked like absolute babes in black outfits they chose themselves. Having them all as integral parts of the day meant having a lot of hands-on-deck, but also kept me feeling much more relaxed than I would have been otherwise. I felt endlessly lucky to have such special friends.

Disco Ball Wedding Decor

It doesn’t matter what season it is, or what your wedding theme is, glitter ball wedding decor is always a good idea. They look incredible at Amanda and Paul’s trinity bouy wharf wedding, and at this rustic barn wedding and 70s inspiration in our archives. Plus, you know what goes perfectly with glitter balls? Fairy lights. Let love sparkle!

Inspiration & Styling

I wanted the day to feel chic, sparkly and special. We splashed out on the venue’s pea lights (after some heated debates!) which made the whole room twinkle. Then we added loads of disco balls, including a little one as each guest’s place setting, to help catch the lights. We kept all of our signage monochrome and simple (and designed by Paul to keep costs down), and our flowers were greens, whites, and neutrals. Jess did beautiful white roses for the bouquets and incredible pampas grass disco ball installations.

Rock My Wedding recommended wedding suppliers Will Patrick Weddings and wedding dress designer Halfpenny London were on hand to make Amanda and Paul’s wedding extra special. Will, captures all those wedding day moments to perfection, and Kate Halfpenny ensured Amanda felt like a queen on her wedding day. We love the layered look, not to mention the bow in her hair.
