Ribbon

If you want to add a refined and elegant look to your wedding car, ribbon is a great way to go. The colour of the ribbon can either be white to symbolise marriage, or it could match the theme of your wedding, the colour of your car... the sky's the limit! If you want to decorate a wedding car but are maybe not as confident with DIYing, this could be a great choice for you. Alternatively, you could ask your transport supplier to add the ribbon for you. If you're still looking for your wedding suppliers, our wedding venue and supplier page is a great place to start. Whatever way you go, ribbon adds a touch of sophistication and personality to your car without going all out.

Tin Cans

Whether you've been to a handful of weddings or only one or two, the likelihood is you've seen some tin cans. Many people tend to decorate a wedding car with tin cans. This is because guests used to tie old shoes and tin cans to the back of newlyweds' cars so that the sound would scare off evil spirits. Spooky! Whatever reason you choose to use tin cans, they're going to look great. The benefit of using tin cans is that you can decorate them however you want - with scrapbook paper, keep them as they are, spray paint them, the world's your oyster! Traditional, cute, and can easily be fitted in with your theme, tin cans are a fantastic option.

Wedding Car Flowers

Prefer a floral look? Wedding car flowers are beautiful, and chic, and give a more classic touch to your car. If you want to add something to your transport but don't want anything written, noisy, or messy, then flowers are a good shout. Although slightly more difficult to DIY yourself, your car supplier will be more than happy to assist. You can put them on the boot, on the bonnet, around the passenger mirrors, or wherever you want. As long as you're not obstructing the driver! If you want to decorate a wedding car and make it look timeless and theme-fitting, flowers are the one for you.

Trunk Decorations

Adding something to the trunk of the car is also very popular. The most popular, in terms of the weddings we have seen, are suitcases, wicker baskets, and "just married" signs. If your wedding theme is more vintage and/or rustic, this will fit in perfectly. Decorating a wedding car with these items will undoubtedly add to the charm of your wedding theme. The suitcase shows off your adventurous, travel-loving side. The wicker basket - for many picnics to come. And the "just married" sign, well, that's just a classic, isn't it? If you're a fan of tradition but don't want to over-egg it, this is a great choice.

Wedding Banners And Balloons

To round off, we've got wedding banners and balloons. These two options are undoubtedly the most cheerful and fun ways to decorate a wedding car. Balloons simply scream celebration! They draw attention to the car, ensuring no one misses a thing. They also just bring a happy, child-like glee to any wedding. As for banners, if you want to announce to the world that you said you "I Do"s (and we don't blame you!) banners are a fantastic way of doing that.
