Anne Letournel Photography was the visionary behind this beautiful editorial shoot and she created the shoot after she "fell in love with Sudeley Castle" after living in England for a year. Anne says, "I love romance and flowers. I wanted to see a wedding in pastel and delicate tones. I am happy to have been able to work with this team of talented professionals."

Our shoot was inspired by the Regency style of Bridgerton. We incorporated the signature blue of the Regency period and paired it with pastel colours such as pink, peach and lavender that reflect the hues of the beautiful English country garden and complimented the stunning venue.

Sudeley Castle Romantic Inspiration
Nestled in the heart of the Cotswold Hills, Sudeley Castle offers a breathtaking backdrop from romantic ruins to formal gardens, fountains and pristine lawns framed by blooming flowerbeds and ancient yew hedges. The castle's rare charm makes it much more than a wedding venue, it’s also a much-loved family home offering a warm welcome. There are magnificent settings to suit every couple from the enchanting fairy-tale chapel to the richly-decorated library. For this shoot, the suppliers set up an intimate, outdoor wedding ceremony amongst the romantic ruins that were adorned with climbing roses. The aisle was lined with meadow-style flowers and framed by two large urns filled with an abundance of flowers. The wedding breakfast was set up in the orangery with beautiful tablecloths from Recommended Supplier, ALBA Tableware.
Keepsake Decor With Meaning
From stationery on handmade petal paper by Recommended Supplier, Blue Pumpkin Calligraphy to meticulously embroidered cathedral-length veils by Recommended Supplier, Rebecca Anne Designs. The suppliers in this shoot showcased handcrafted heirloom pieces that can be treasured by couples long beyond their wedding day. Recommended Supplier, Photo Press, added a modern twist to their unique bespoke wedding newspaper which was designed in pastel hues to tie in with the theme. Recommended Supplier, Karin Tindall Weddings created a tablescape that featured more pastel hues adorned with delicate bows and flowers along with opal cutlery and elegant candlelight. Menus with silk bows and place cards with wax seals and calligraphy added to the elegant theme.
Even the entertainment was Regency-appropriate with a live harpist who set the tone with romance
When styling the couple, we wanted to achieve a romantic, Regency style, which was created effortlessly by Recommended Supplier, Sarah Nicholls Bridal. The bride’s makeup was modern but regal. Pinks and peaches were chosen for the makeup. The hair was styled in an updo to show off the gorgeous open v-back featured in the gown
