Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg is the dreamy backdrop for this beautifully styled shoot. The venue features glass ceilings, an outdoor chapel and immense ballrooms that welcome guests into a majestic, almost regal environment. This wedding venue is nestled within a vast park of abundant flowers and vegetation, blending English and Italian garden designs. Striking and elegant, the marbled floors, stone pillars and over 27 vintage Swarovski crystal chandeliers add a sense of opulence and timelessness.

Colourful Wedding Flowers

The wedding planner and floral designer worked hand in hand to create an ethereal and bespoke canvas. From the velvet forest green napkins, golden silverware, clear plates and crystal glassware sets, the tablescape is beautiful. The playful colourful tones and textures make this shoot one to remember. The unique element the planner and florist loved the most was including glass cloches that encapsulated flowers. It was a beautiful and delicate reference to romantic decor seen in fairytales.

The Haleema dress by Milla Nova was customised with fitted detachable embroidered sleeves and feathers were added to the corset for a unique touch to inspire future brides seeking modern and fun additions to their gowns. We used a Swarovski overlap round cut ring to complement the dress and strayed away from over-accessorising the model as the Haleema gown itself was abundant in embroidery and sequins.
