2024 has been a year! Here are just a few of the world’s love stories we were honoured to share this year. It’s been a year of some truly spectacular weddings. This roundup of real weddings includes the top-performing weddings on social media and team favourites, as well as some additional weddings that we just haven’t stopped thinking about. Let’s enter the world of bold, untraditional bridal fashion, colourful retro wedding cakes, champagne tower fails, stylish wedding accessories, and, of course, all the love! In no particular order, here are the top 24 real weddings of 2024.

Drum roll, please! Here are Rock My Wedding’s top 24 real weddings of 2024!

1. Molly & Noat at Langshott Manor

Molly & Noah’s celebration combined classic charm with a contemporary twist at Recommended Venue, Langshott Manor. Set against a romantic backdrop with breathtaking florals and intricate lighting, their wedding stood out for its elegance, dreamy colour palette and flawless execution, which earned this wedding its place on the list. If weddings had Pinterest royalty, this one’s wearing the crown.

2. Anouska & Matt at Hadsham Farm

Now this is a couple with taste! Anoushka & Matt wanted a celebration of music, fun and pink so decided on a 'festival-disco-glam' theme. After their slightly retro-inspired (and very pink) Vegas elopement, the couple wanted to keep some of this theme in their UK wedding, especially since they had originally met at Reading Festival in 2017! During the sunset, the couple poured a champagne tower and then got some amazing pictures taken by the lovely Recommended Supplier, Mark Horton Photos, in the fields of our Recommended Venue, Hadsham Farm, with the sunset in a little rowing boat decked out in disco balls and flowers. For their wedding video, the couple decided to choose Recommended Supplier, Electric Reel, to film the day! The couple also chose Recommended Supplier, Prezola, for their wedding gift list.

3. Rachel & Tatum at Riverlands Wedding Barn

To be totally honest, this wedding is up there as one of the coolest we’ve had the pleasure of featuring this year so far. Rachel & Tatum put all of their personalities into the day and created a boho disco extravaganza at the gorgeous Recommended Venue, Riverlands Wedding Barns. The couple loves festivals and has an appreciation for all music with live singers, musicians, and DJs playing all genres of music. They even had a boogie when signing their papers. The day was non-stop entertainment from start to finish. The Rock ’n’ Roll brides provided energy all day long and thanks to their incredible photographers, Kazooieloki Photography, who are also one of our Recommended suppliers, all of that energy was reflected in their wedding photos.

12. Chelsea & Ryan at Willow Marsh Farm

I love Rock n' Roll, so put another dime in the jukebox, baby! We’re here with Chelsea & Ryan’s Western Rock ’n’ Roll wedding. Chelsea is a drummer in a band and Ryan loves working on his Harley Davidson which he custom-built and arrived at the venue on, so this theme was natural for the couple. Their home and decor were actually the inspiration for the whole wedding. The couple had cowboy boot aisle decorations (don’t judge until you see how cool these look), leather jackets and sunglasses, a live wedding band, and Ryan was the definition of they see me rollin’, they hatin’ as he turned up to the wedding on the back of his Harley Davidson. Capturing Chelsea & Ryan's insanely cool wedding day was Recommended Supplier, Firewood Film.

The couple have both been on difficult journeys that got them to this point and they wanted their wedding day to be a celebration of all they have overcome to finally reach their happily ever after or, more accurately, the start of their lives together! To complement the stunning rustic venue, the styling focused on a neutral colour palette with a variety of textures and floral details to create a warm and romantic vibe to their day. With everything from an audio guest book, glitter and glow stick stations, to personalised cocktails, a reception outfit change and a dedicated area for kids attending the wedding, this couple truly thought of everything. Every detail was thoughtfully crafted by their incredible wedding planners and Recommended Supplier, The Wedding Arrangers. Elle & Alex wanted their guests to leave, thinking, “Wow, that was FUN!” I LOVED Elle & Alex’s bold colour scheme with those sleek and sexy black bridesmaid dresses from Recommended Supplier, Six Stories, that made the beautiful flowers by Recommended Supplier, Honey Bunch, really pop! I’m obsessed with Honey Bunch as a supplier- I get excited whenever we have a submission with them. They’re always so bright and colourful Chloe had three wedding dresses (the ultimate dream), and each one was incredible - I love the feathers and the silk, so classic and classy but still fun! The vintage heart cake is a classic but so cute and they also had tequila pistols - need I say more?! Chloe & Nathan's reception venue is also where I’d want my wedding reception!"

"Jasmine & Sam was my fave wedding this year! Edinburgh is one of my favourite places! I visited last December for the Christmas markets, and it was cosy and magical. I love the muted, candlelit aesthetic, it's so romantic. The ceremony was a beautiful blending of Scottish and Iranian traditions, honouring the couple’s heritage. The florals are stunning! I especially love how the greenery ties the ceremony area and table décor together. I’d always personally choose foliage over flowers! Belle from Beauty and the Beast is actually my favourite Disney princess, so I adore the library setting.  I also love Jasmine's custom wedding dress created by Recommended Supplier, Wilden London and the stunning photography by Recommended Supplier, Bethany and James."

Robyn & James at Minterne House

This real wedding is actually the top performing on our social media platforms for the year! So, not only did our Editor love it but you did, too with over 6.5k likes on Instagram! "Robyn & James’ wedding at Minterne House is my favourite real wedding of the year - mainly because of the two wedding dresses. I love the bride's reception dress with its statement oversized bow at the back and chic headband. It's a cute combination of classic elegance and modern flair. And the short reception dress, featuring short puff sleeves is playful and fits the funfair theme."
