Preston Court Wedding with Two Boho Wedding Dresses
Photography by Epic Love StoryHolly and Jordan were written in the stars and had a magical Preston Court wedding as wonderful as their love story. With a celestial cake and limoncello favours to represent moments in their relationship, plus not one, but two incredible boho wedding dresses, that knock her groom's socks off. Every emotion and detail has been captured beautifully by Epic Love Story and Full Focus Weddings. Now pass the tissues, as I'm still overcome with emotion after listening to Jordan's speech.

What Made Your Day Unique
We broke with tradition by having our speeches before dinner outside on the carousel. This worked really well as everyone had had a few drinks and was mingling and by having them standing around us it felt much more interactive. A bonus of this was that the backdrop of the carousel made for really lovely photographs. It also meant we could really enjoy our meal as we didn't have to eat with the nerves of the speeches to come. For dessert, our family made a selection of cakes and brownies which we displayed on a dresser outside with our wedding cake. Dessert is always the part of the wedding where everyone is in a bit of a food-coma and the mood starts to dip. By doing it outside along with the cutting of the cake, it got everyone up and back outside to make the most of the amazing weather.Holly & Jordan
Preston Court Wedding
There is something so magical about a Preston Court wedding. It could be the carousel, the mechanical organ or the fact that every real wedding we feature there, everyone is radiating joy. Holly and Jordan added lots of personal touches to their day including making limoncello as favours (as they got engaged in Italy) and baking cakes and brownies for pudding. We also spy an incredible celestial wedding cake with star toppers, which. if you watch the film by Full Focus Weddings and listen to Jordan's speech has a special meaning all of its own. There's also wooden and blackboard signs, plus, incredible pampas grass, foliage and flower arrangements.Inspiration & Styling
Many of the guests at our wedding made the journey to Kent from abroad or from other parts of the country- we wanted them to come and experience the best of Kent in September. We worked with our caterer to create a menu which showcased local and seasonal ingredients such as locally baked bread, smoked fish and cheeses. For the toasts, we used a sparkling wine produced down the road from the venue. We also used an autumnal colour palette with shades of burgundy, burnt orange, and peach. We hired Persian rugs, macrame chandeliers and had plenty of pampas grass to keep the space looking rustic and bohemian.Holly & Jordan

Holly bought her Pronovias dress a year before the wedding, however, when it arrived it had a large hole under the armpit- She felt really unhappy about it and set about finding an alternative dress with just 13 weeks to go until the big day. Despite the short time frame Julie from Blush Bridal was unflappable and found the gorgeous Arlo dress for her and then even had it couriered to her for no extra charge just a week before the wedding. Pronovias ended up sourcing a seamstress to fix the original dress and so she ended up wearing both on the day. And looks stellar in both I might add. This is a prime example of things going wrong, but all turning our for the best on the day.
