In a secret ceremony in May 2024, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi tied the knot at the stunning Villa Cetinale in Tuscany, Italy. The Stranger Things star, 20, first became official with the famous model and actor, 22, in June 2021. Just shy of their two-year anniversary, the lovebirds were engaged in April 2023.
In an Instagram post on 2nd October 2024, Millie Bobby Brown took to the social media platform to share her much-anticipated wedding photos with the caption, “Forever and always, your wife”. Bongiovi shared a corresponding post with the caption, “Forever and always, your husband.”

Millie Bobby Brown’s Wedding Dresses
Millie Bobby wore a total of four wedding dresses to mark the special occasion including a custom wedding dress. For the wedding ceremony, the Enola Holmes actress wore custom Galia Lahav. The actress initially fell in love with Galia Lahav’s ANAIS gown and worked with the dress designers to create her own custom spin on the stunning dress. Sharon Sever, Head Designer at Galia Lahav said, “Designing a wedding gown for such a talented actress was a true honour. Millie Bobby brought depth and complexity to her iconic role in Stranger Things, and now she brings grace & beauty to her special day in another iconic way. I can’t wait to see her shine as she steps into a new chapter of her life & wish her and Jake only happiness, love & health for their future together."

For the couple photos, the Damsel actress changed into a vintage-style Valentino wedding dress with capped sleeves and silky corset and a lace skirt that reflected the lace in her earlier custom Galia Lahav number.
Finally, for the reception, Millie Bobby Brown wore a short off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta white dress, which the actress iconically paired with the groom’s bow tie blowing bubblegum. Brown also shared a shot to her Instagram story featuring another full lace gown by Oscar de la Renta to cut the wedding cake!
Destination Wedding Venue

Villa Cetinale is a luxury Italian villa that has been dubbed the “most beautiful wedding venue in Tuscany” according to Architectural Digest. The villa has a famous garden, its own chapel, hermitage, and holy wood (that’s a new one we’ve never heard of before). With a heated pool, tennis court, and an incredible chef, this Tuscany wedding venue is truly a sanctuary escape and perfectly matches the romantic and low-key vibe that Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi were after for their secret ceremony.
Celebrity Officiant & Guests
The wedding was complete with a star-studded guest list including Jake’s parents, Dorothea and Jon Bon Jovi. One of the most important guests of the day was Millie Bobby’s friend and co-star, Matthew Modine. Known as Papa in Stranger Things, Modine has known Millie Bobby Brown for almost a decade when the pair first met on the set of the hit TV show. As a much-loved friend who has been there through all of the actress’ teenage years, and as the first official person to meet Jake as Millie’s partner, it just made sense for him to officiate the ceremony.
Galia Lahav also designed custom looks for Kelly Brown (Millie's mother) and Dorothea, (Jon Bon Jovi's wife and Jake's mother), for this special day.
