Ellie & Jordan tied the knot in mid-August at Wootton Hall where they took over the venue for a full weekend of celebrations. The couple chose rustic luxe styling with lots of textured fabrics, elegant white wedding flowers and contemporary details like Ellie’s pearl headband, which she paired with a timeless Suzanne Neville wedding dress. The styling complemented the rustic barn venue perfectly. The wedding day was captured beautifully by Recommended Supplier, Amy Elizabeth Photo in a way that showcases all the personal touches like the custom cake topper of the couple’s Border Terrier, Gimli, and the surprise performances from the bridesman who is also a professional singer! The couple also chose Recommended Supplier, The Wedding Shop, for their gift list.
The team at Frances Day Bridal were incredible! They made finding my wedding dress such a joy. Amy, our photographer, was amazing. She stayed for the entire day and when I look at her pictures I feel like I am re-living the day all over again. She went above and beyond to get the perfect shots and I would recommend her to anyone. I loved having a photographer who captured the day and moments rather than posed photos. It meant that the time we spent taking photos as a couple was really fun and felt like a moment for us both to take everything in.
Ellie
Ellie & Jordan tied the knot at Wootton Hall in North Lincolnshire. The stunning venue offers exclusive hire for weekends, which is exactly what Ellie & Jordan opted for. On-site, there is a main house with three bedrooms and three cottages, which meant they could stay close to their loved ones. Everything about the planning process is entirely bespoke with no quick-fix packages! Ellie & Jordan loved this touch! They arrived at 2 pm on the Friday, where each of their favourite drinks was waiting for them. All suppliers had set everything up too! Once arrived, the couple split up and spent the nights with their respective groom/bridal party. Every detail had been thought about, from the breakfasts on the wedding morning to the monogrammed deserts!
Ellie & Jordan chose to have a stylist for their wedding day. In their eyes (and ours, because this wedding is so gorgeous!), it was worth every penny! The couple wanted their day to have a timeless look with classic and elegant details. White flowers, textured fabrics like drapery, and crystal candleholders with lots of soft and romantic light from the candles. Coco in the Country and Sass Weddings were perfect! They took my Pinterest board and brought everything to life! The barn was filled with huge floral inspirations and gorgeous styling that exceeded all of Ellie & Jordan’s expectations. Of course, a decor highlight is the custom cake topper of the couple’s dog, Gimli, who couldn’t attend the wedding but was definitely there in spirit.
I was actually really nervous before walking down the aisle, which I didn’t expect. Once I saw Jordan, I felt completely calm and we just had the best time. After the ceremony, we had five minutes on our own with a glass of champagne before walking out to see everyone for the first time, which was so special!
Ellie
Ellie & Jordan certainly paid attention to detail at their Wootton Hall wedding and the same can be said for their music and readings. The couple had a cellist play as Ellie walked down the aisle and at the drinks reception. For their wedding reading, the couple chose this Winnie The Pooh reading. Ellie’s bridesman is also a professional singer who sang the couple’s first dance with a saxophone player. He also surprised the couple with sets throughout the night with the saxophonist and DJ! It’s safe to say, the dance floor was never empty!
