What Made Our Day Unique
We were very hands-on from the start as we knew we would enjoy the DIY aspect of it. We planned, sourced and made everything we could and had fun doing it! With just our immediate family, we privately, intimately and officially married in the beautiful St Georges Hall in the morning before having a larger blessing in the afternoon. While Anna got ready with her bridesmaids, Tim was putting the final touches on the second venue. Our guests were given a glass of prosecco and a handful of rose petal confetti on arrival before taking their seats on hay bales either side of the rug aisle. Anna's dad led the blessing where we exchanged vows and rings in front of our families, friends and two dogs, George and Finn!Anna & Tim
Inspiration & Styling
We always knew we wanted to hold the ceremony outdoors with a boho, laid back vibe so we designed everything around that. We found the Riversdale Club with the view of the River Mersey and knew it was the place for us! (We ended the night with fireworks overlooking the river!) We wanted our guests to relax, enjoy themselves and also try something new with an all-vegan food wedding! We wanted a real family feel and had cakes made by aunties and friends for dessert. We chose our band because they created a Spanish holiday vibe and as we love to travel. Anna loves gipsy blossom so it was in the bridesmaid's braided hair, buttonholes and centrepieces on the tables. She also wanted something different to a traditional bouquet so created her own flower garland which she draped around her when walking down the aisle.Anna & Tim
