These real weddings are filled with incredible floral arrangement ideas - definitely ones for those of you who love blooms and are allocating a large portion of your budget to flowers. If your flower budget doesn't stretch to grand displays though, never fear, have a look through these incredible weddings and steal smaller elements or colours for your own wedding flower ideas.
The greenery in this wedding is totally beautiful, Lia went for unstructured arrangements, filled with foliage, olive branches and even apples and the whole look is just so fabulously rustic, and perfectly in keeping with the South African barn venue. Loaded with wedding flower ideas for every budget. Images were captured by The Barefoot Brunettes, and you can see the wedding in full here. Florist - One Day
With a British Botanical theme and being the wedding of a top UK wedding cake baker, we knew this wedding was going to be fab before we'd even seen the photographs!! Bride Katie says 'The first detail planned was the flowers; I knew Michelle Gledhill Flowers & Styling was the perfect person to arrange the flowers in the relaxed organic style I love, and having access to literally thousands of stems straight from the fields of Lincolnshire meant that we were able to really get carried away with an opulent effect and have them literally dripping from the ceiling with suspended arrangements, as well a continual run of arrangements along the long tables, in my collection of vintage bottles & pewter teapots.' Italian couple Olivia and Guido essentially brought a wildflower meadow into their marquee for their big day - the colours were incredible and I can only imagine the heady scent created by all of those blooms in the sunshine! Just gorgeous. Images by Adriana Chechi, and you can see the wedding in full here. Florist - Stiatti Fiori
Sarah's brief to her florist Abi was 'English Country Garden' and the results were more amazing than she could have imagined! Gorgeous blooms in rich colours, and chairs dressed with a waterfall of pink roses and greenery - just spectacular. Images are by Claire Penn and you can see the wedding in full here. Ellen found Hannah, from Bloom Fleuriste, when she stumbled across her setting up for her own wedding (also featured on RMW). Ellen asked who had done the flowers and was thrilled to find out that Hannah the Bride was setting up her own floristry company. We love Hannah's distinctive style and can confirm that she is indeed lovely. Ellen's big day was filled with Coral Charm peonies, Quicksand roses, Avalanche roses, Jana spray roses, Sweetpeas, Amaranthus Hypercium berries, Snapdragons, Stocks, Hydrangea, Veronica Scabiosa pods, Astrantia and lots of foliage...wow. These hanging floral displays were super popular on our Instagram page, and we can see why - they just look so spectacular. Bride Nicy actually cried with joy when she saw them. We love the bold, almost clashing colours too - the reds and pinks look gorgeous combined with gold. And Nicy chose to get married in May so she could have peonies - a girl after our own hearts! Oh gosh, there are actually no words to describe the flower-lined aisle from Rachel & Alex' wedding ceremony. Rachel is a florist - so naturally, her wedding was going to be filled with blooms, and we love the happy, bright and summery colours she chose. Rachel's bouquet was filled with peonies and roses, alongside some beautiful sweet peas, zinnias, dahlias, and cosmos grown by her Mum.
