Wedding Decor From Sainsbury's Home

When I was planning my own wedding I loved the process of choosing and personalising our wedding decor. When Sainsbury’s Home contacted us about a sponsored post to support the new wedding range we were more than happy to style the collection to inspire you to add extra flourishes to your big day. You’ll probably know your venue like the back of your hand as no doubt you’ve visited a few times in the run-up to your wedding. However, your guests may need a little guidance which is where this fab Chalkboard Arrow priced at only £4 comes in. Scribe your own message with chalk or a chalkboard pen and hang in a tree or against a wall to guide the way. Guests also need to know where they’ll be sitting to dine at that all important wedding breakfast. We really liked that the Table Plan (£16) comes with individual cards to detail the guests' names so easy to make any last minute changes! Nestled next to this is the Light Up Arrow (£16) which illuminates as dusk falls and can be personalised with any phrase you choose.

On to the table. The Mercury Vase (£14) is a super versatile piece that can be used as a table centrepiece or integrated into your other decor installations. We used around fifteen stems for this arrangement with two show-stopping blousy hydrangeas which are a team favourite. We suggest illuminating with the soft glow of a candle such as the delicately scented Happily Ever After Candle (£5) to give your tablescape a romantic ambience. Amongst the stems we slotted in the beautiful script Table Numbers (£12) which come in a pack of twelve and can be repurposed after the event as cake toppers for little one’s birthday parties! Chair backs are also exceptionally fashionable at the moment and for £5 you can adorn the back of your chair with a statement Bride or Groom piece.

When it comes to guest books, Sainsbury’s Home offer both a traditional option with the copper foiled Our Day (£12) book with premium paper inside. This would also work well if you’re planning on using an instamatic style camera to snap memories of all our your guests too. Just add photo corners to the pages to secure the photos in place. For a more unique guest book, Sainsbury’s Home also offer a Memory Box (£14) filled with wooden hearts for each guest to note a piece of advice to the happy couple. The pretty rustic style box is perfect to display on your shelf at home after the big event. We also used the pretty hearts as place names for the table using calligraphy hand-written with a copper pen.
