Bhavni and Ant made their Victoria Warehouse wedding all about them and everything they love. They incorporated acoustic versions of their favourite drum and bass songs, and Bhavni's lace wedding dress was a lovely nod to her Indian heritage. There were neon lights, ice-cream cones and some of the most fun wedding party photos captured by Recommended photographer Photos By Hash. Is it festival season yet?
Our wedding day was just us down to the very last detail. We met at a drum and bass rave so we decided to get married in one of Manchester’s most prolific rave venues - Victoria Warehouse. The day was full-on festival vibes, with the groom Ant even throwing down a 30 min drum and bass set!
Bhavni & Ant
My favourite part of the day was walking down the aisle to an acoustic version of one of Ant and I's favourite drum and bass songs with my dad. As soon as I saw Ant looking back at me all my nerves went away, and I was just undeniably happy!
I think one of the things that stole the show was my dress. People were in awe as it was so unusual. As soon as I saw Avril by Rue de Seine I knew it was the one. The lace gave me throwbacks to my Indian heritage and I thought it would be an amazing way for me to honour my culture.
You do you! I knew that most of my family would have never been to a wedding like this and I was so worried about whether people would enjoy it. Then I thought as long as I do, they will! And they did! Food and music is the key!! It’s what people remember most, so focus on getting that right and everything else will fall into place. Take some time just you two on the day to reflect and take it all in. The day will go by so fast.

Choosing your wedding venue can really set the tone for your day. Bhavni and Ant's love of drum and bass events lead them to the prolific Victoria Warehouse venue in Manchester. They partied hard absolutely nailing smoke bomb shots with their wedding party as well as intimate golden hour portraits just the two of them.
