Outdoor Turkish Wedding

Photography by Docushot Photography

Rebecca & Oğuz's Turkish wedding looks like an absolute blast! The sun was shining, there were flowers EVERYWHERE and everyone was in the mood to party. We're loving this fun-filled blend of English and Turkish cultures, perfectly captured by Recommended Supplier Docushot Photography. This smiley couple just wanted to relax with their nearest and dearest and not take life too seriously. We also love a romantic white colour scheme with abundant florals for a sunny destination wedding!

A beautiful Turkish wedding in Izmir with an abundance of flowers and lots of dancing.

Our favourite moment from the day was during the early hours of the party when everybody started jumping in the pool fully clothed!

VIBE

We wanted our day to be completely relaxed; we knew that on the day inevitably things go awry but all we wanted was to relax with our friends and family and not sweat the small stuff. In terms of styling, flowers were a huge part of our decoration and since our venue already had some beautiful floral displays we chose very neutral colours with pops of copper poking through.

A BLEND OF CULTURES

My husband is from Turkey and I am from the UK and it was really important to us that both of our cultures and traditions were represented in an inclusive way and I think we did exactly that. We made our vows and speeches in both English and Turkish and watched our loved ones dance the night away to both the Grease megamix and Tarkan! It was so special to see and we loved every moment.

Our main advice for any couple is to remember that you are getting married for yourselves and not other people. The most important thing is that you are getting married and that hopefully you will get to share that moment with your nearest and dearest. Anything else is just a bonus.
