A chic and effortless tulle wedding dress is just the perfect choice for a festival wedding! Robyn found her dream tulle wedding dress from Recommended supplier, The Bridal Boutique Warwickshire. Recommened supplier, Cambridgeshire Makeup Artist, put the finishing touches to Robyn's bridal look. Robyn and Will had a wild weekend wedding at Recommended venue, Willow Grange Farm in Cambridgeshire. The vibe for the day was a relaxed festival with a summer garden party feel complete with a marquee and live music from Recommended supplier, Blue Lion Band! What a wedding! Robyn & Will also chose Recommended supplier, Prezola, for their gift list. Also, our thanks goes to Recommended supplier, Lee Allison Photography, for capturing the love and joy of this day!
We have talked about what our favourite moment is a lot. We both loved the confetti aisle - all of which was hand dried by Will's mum and made of roses from their garden. But we also really loved walking into the wedding breakfast. As cricket fans, we had the 'Test Match Special' theme playing, which went down a treat. There really is no greater feeling than dancing into a room full of all your loved ones cheering!
Robyn & Will
Robyn wore a stunning tulle wedding dress by Alena Leena Bridal and Will had a stylish double-breasted waistcoat with a morning suit jacket by Peter Posh. Robyn & Will both live in London, so they wanted to get away to the countryside to have a 3-day festival-themed wedding bonanza. Will and his best man co-own an old vintage Aston Martin, which was their obvious choice for the wedding car! Plus, we are loving those patterned bridesmaid dresses. They're the perfect summer bridesmaid dress with plenty of ruffles (which are so popular right now)! We have to give an extra mention to Robyn's cascading bouquet too...how stunning!
Robyn & Will had a whole weekend festival celebration from Friday to Monday surrounded by their favourite people, with around 70 family and friends staying in tents on site, so it genuinely felt like a mini festival. To start the festivities the couple had music, food and drinks around a campfire on Friday night. The wedding day was on Saturday and on Sunday Robyn & Will had friends playing live music and performing comedy stand-ups, along with a hog roast. The styling was simple with muted tones and lots of foliage using the farm and countryside location to not detract from the rustic character of the venue and the scenery!
We would say, in terms of planning, to take your time and weigh up your options for each element individually, and don't rush into any decisions. There is a lot of scaremongering in the industry that everything is getting booked up, and while you need to book things far in advance, you need to make the right choices for you both! Over and above everything else, don't stress about the small details. If something doesn't go quite to plan, no one will know but you, so shake it off and carry on enjoying your day!
