We love a wedding that can do both, and Imani & Simeon's gorgeous wedding at Tredudwell Manor was in equal measure aesthetically beautiful and heartwarmingly moving. Wanting to incorporate Caribbean cultures and families as well as the Cornish setting where the big day took place, so this wedding celebrated both Caribbean and Cornish culture. The wedding speeches, and the celebration in general, encapsulated women and multiculturalism perfectly. And Recommended venue Tredudwell Manor was the ideal backdrop for such a glorious event - providing opulence, gorgeous grounds and seaside views. Capturing not only the physical beauty of the day but also the incredible energy was Recommended supplier Alexa Poppe Photography - and she did a sensational job.
This was very much a DIY wedding. We didn’t have a wedding planner, so we did all the planning and logistics with our suppliers. Food is very important at any function, but especially your wedding. Trust us! It’s the thing amongst others that people will remember, especially at Caribbean weddings - our caterers were brilliant, the food was amazing, and we had enough to take home too!

Tredudwell Manor is an enchanting haven nestled amidst the idyllic landscapes of Cornwall. Steeped in history and exuding irresistible tranquillity, this exquisite manor invites you to indulge in an unforgettable escape. Surrounded by acres of manicured gardens and rolling countryside, the manor presents a picturesque setting that is simply breathtaking. Couples can stroll through the meticulously landscaped grounds, discovering hidden nooks, vibrant blooms, and serene seating areas that beckon you to unwind and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Imani & Simeon definitely chose the right wedding venue for their big day. Having a venue that matches the vibe of the day is always a winner - and that is the case here. The opulent energy of Tredudwell made the perfect backdrop for this Caribbean celebration of love, women and multiculturalism. The classic white theme the couple went for also looked perfect in the reception room. This then balanced harmoniously with Imani's gorgeous boatneck wedding dress.
Caribbean weddings bring a lot of zest and cultural flair to a celebration. From the moment you enter the big day, you'll be swept away by a fusion of infectious energy. Caribbean weddings are a feast for the senses - and Imani & Simeon's wedding at Tredudwell Manor was no different. The couple both have Caribbean backgrounds and wanted to bring this to the forefront. This included old-school RnB and Caribbean vibes through their wedding music. As well as traditional Caribbean cooking, and family having travelled all the way. And it wasn't just the cultural elements that made it so special. The wedding speeches centred around the importance of women, their roles in life, their nurturing and loving auras, and so much more. It's not every day we hear about weddings where the entirety of the bar staff is reduced to tears! We also loved the sage grey and white decor, the outdoor wedding games, and... Oh, who are we kidding? We loved every. Single. Element.
Our favourite moment is the (biodegradable) confetti shot with all our guests, shortly after we said I do! This moment was captured by our photographer and videographer and everyone looks so happy to be celebrating in our union. It was a great moment to capture and kick off an afternoon/evening of celebrations with the DJ playing music in the background.
