If you want a wedding that reminds you of the relaxation, comfort, and rejuvenation of nature, then this stunning ceremony at The Orangery Ingestre will be right up your foliage-decorated street. This venue served as the perfect surroundings for Emily & Andrew's unique and beautiful wedding. It allowed Recommended supplier Wilderness Floral Design's amazing flowers and suspended foliage clouds to truly stand out - adding to the botanical, natural theme. Recommended supplier BPM Events created not only a great atmosphere through his DJing but got all the guests up on their feet, celebrating the couples' love (and maybe celebrating champagne, too). That gloriously artistic and special cake was made by none other than Recommended supplier Tspcake, and we'd really love a slice of it (or maybe nine). If Emily & Andrew's gift list is anywhere near as fantastic as their wedding, they'll be in for a treat. Oh, wait! It almost certainly will be - as they used Recommended supplier Prezola.
We chose Ingestre Orangery because it's a beautiful, unique venue, but also because the Brides parents live practically next door. We were able to use the family home, St Mary's Church and the Orangery at Ingestre which made the whole day really personal. The bridal party spent the morning of the wedding at the family home getting ready, and we could hear the church bells when we walked out of the front door!

Nestled in the heart of tranquil Staffordshire, The Orangery Ingestre is a beautiful, historic building overlooking some truly spectacular sights. The architecture simultaneously boasts elegance and modernity, and the gardens provide an effortlessly gorgeous backdrop for a wedding. That's why picking the right venue is of the utmost importance. Emily & Andrew clearly had the right idea. From the moment you turn off into the winding country lane, you feel like you're immersing yourself in a new world. It's fairly obvious when looking at the wedding photos just how stunning the reception room is, too. A flexible and light space, that brings any and all themes to life.
The couple really wanted to pay homage to the original, intended use of The Orangery when it was once used to grow plants as part of the Ingestre estate. And the most effective way to do this? Using those incredible high ceilings to suspend foliage clouds over the reception tables, which Wilderness Floral pulled off beautifully. The huge amounts of plants styled around the venue definitely helped, too. All of this as well as the surroundings of the venue brought together the nature-inspired theme of Emily & Andrew's wonderful wedding excellently. The quirkier elements were great too, like the wedding newspaper as an alternative to an order of service, which they gave to every guest.
If we had any advice, it would have to be this. It's really easy to get carried away when you start your wedding research. This can then snowball into something that doesn't reflect you as a couple! Keep things simple, and stick to what you really love.
