Temperley Bridal Embroidered Wedding Dress

Photography by Magda K Photography

This breathtakingly vibrant Temperley Bridal wedding dress isn’t the only beautiful thing to come from Mia & Fletcher’s big day. Although, it did provide the inspiration for it! Influencing so many details; from the florals to the tablescapes to the stationery (with menu cards from Recommended Supplier, Papier). Their vibe was simplicity, and allowed the venue to speak for itself, alongside a little injection of their personalities. The rustic styling and bright flowers combined with neutral tones work perfectly. We also love the Daisy Made ice cream van, a childhood favourite of Mia and her friends from Lincoln! With evening entertainment from The Marylebone's via Recommended Supplier, Entertainment Nation, you simply can't go wrong.

For us, it was a mixture of special elements that came together to make our day unique. The period venue, beautifully restored by the owners, combined with the creativity and curation of our florist to create a day that we and our nearest will never forget.

FAVOURITE MOMENT

This is always a tough question to answer especially when we loved so many elements of our wedding. All made possible by our incredible suppliers doing the most spectacular work on our big day. We really could not have asked and wished for more. However for us, after two years of postponing, it had to be finally celebrating our marriage with the people we love most and seeing everyone having fun. The people that have been with us through not just our own journey together as a couple but the whole way through, in all walks of life so far!

TEMPERLEY BRIDAL

Our wedding was styled around one very important focal point - Mia’s fitted Toledo Temperley bridal gown. The dress, with its extra special and vibrant colours, influenced many aspects of the wedding including key decisions on flowers, table setting and stationery. Fletch’s suit was completely tailored and accessorised to compliment the dress too! We didn’t want to overcomplicate the look and feel of our special day so we confidently decided on a vibe of simplicity. The venue has been so beautifully restored by the owners that we really didn’t need to do an awful lot to add a flavour of ‘us.’

A little advice… start early (if you can!) and give yourselves as much time as possible. In a way the pandemic gave us a lot of extra time to refine, revise and incrementally add more - we definitely made lemonade from the lemons life gave us these past few years. Also, support each other, make decisions together and enjoy the process. It can feel stressful making sure all is right and as you had planned it to be but the run-up moves very quickly so take a minute to slow everything down from time to time.
