Story Of My Dress Bridal
The Aura Story Of My Dress Bridal collection has pieces from our archive as well as brand new designs. I wanted to create something contemporary/stylish but with our timeless tone reflected. Square necklines and big sleeves are seeing a huge comeback and are loved by our brides. Simple fabrics like satins and silks are popular now, lace will never truly go out of fashion. This collection celebrates an appliqué 3D lace that we absolutely love. Indigo is the 2.0 version of our best selling dress Arla. We wanted to create a similar feel but with new exciting fabrics. Pleated tulles and organzas are also a big trend in 2022.
Location
The shoot location was a beautiful converted church in NW10. I adored the stained windows and pillars. The house seemed to echo our designs, modern with a nod to the history of fashion and design. The perfect way to describe our style, Elena captured it perfectly. I wanted to choose models who truly represent us as women and represent diversity. Daisy and Jordan just looked insane in our dresses. Although Covid prevented hair and makeup from being done professionally, Daisy and Jordan were naturally beautiful anyway, so nailed the look I wanted! 90’s bridal catwalks were my inspiration, particularly Dior!
