From start to finish, Flo and Kieran's boho wedding was full of surprises, fun, and style. Take Flo's polka dot Stephanie Allin bridal gown for starters, which she paired with lip-covered platforms - absolute killer! Keiran wore a kilt to honour his Scottish heritage, and the bridesmaids were allowed to wear any style dress in a variety of pink, red, orange and rust hues. Fabric signs, wool rugs and disco balls from Recommended supplier, The Boho Shack, decorated The Kings Chapel, Old Amersham. And, friends and family performed readings, songs and more throughout the day. Capturing all these special moments and details was Recommended supplier, Jodiemitchell Photography.
We wanted to have an extraordinary ceremony. Often the ceremony gets rather overlooked and can be quite generic so we spent loads of time planning and making it personal. It turned out as magical as we'd hoped. Keiran and I had readings from my aunt and best friend, and a piano piece from Kieran's friend. The LGMC also stood up as a surprise and sang and our dogs brought the rings in with our nephew. We celebrated saying our personalised vows with a shot of whisky.

Flo in her Stephanie Allin bridal gown (which you can buy on Recycle My Wedding) and her bridesmaids in different pink, yellow and orange bridesmaids dresses are one of the most stylish bridal parties we've seen. Shying away from many more traditions and truly forging their day their way, Flo and Kieran asked Flo's brother to act as the celebrant during their wedding ceremony. They drank whiskey shots after their vows, had Union by Robert Fulgham and 'Blessing For Marriage by James Dillett Freeman, readings from Flo's Aunt and best friend, and a Clair de Lune by Debussy piano piece played by Kieran's friend. Plus, there was a surprise performance of God Only Knows by London Gay Men's Chorus.
Flo and; Kieran wanted a boho vibe. They had styling from The Boho Shack, including lots of dried and wildflowers. They wanted everything to be fun and vibrant, hence the bright bridesmaid dresses and surprises throughout their ceremony. Flo is a teacher and works with children, so she asked them to hand-drawn place names for each and every one of their guests. Such an incredibly personal and unique idea, really adding to the table decor. Giving a nod to Kieran's Scottish heritage was important to them, so they asked Keiran's brother to play the bagpipes before their first dance and hired a ceilidh for the evening. What a way to party and honour Kieran's Scottish heritage.
I mostly found my suppliers via Instagram or recommendations from friends. I also spent a lot of time on Rock My Wedding browsing through different weddings. I found it so helpful to get inspiration!
