Spring Is Yet To Come...

Photography by Pear & Bear Photography
Gorgeous colour scheme alert! Dusky blues, greys with hints of peach, white and copper are seriously giving me the swoons this morning. I'm always drawn to deeper, darker palettes over bright colour schemes, so this is right up my street. Anna at Pear & Bear Photography and the team have created such a dreamy table scape. Flooded in light from the window at The Pumping House and with the wooden chairs mirroring the parquet floor, it's a masterclass in styling.

Anna the Photographer: I’ve always been drawn to dusky blue hues and when I decided to organise another styled bridal photoshoot, I knew I would have to incorporate those colours into the theme. I feel that they represent my constant longing for the sea perfectly. I reached out to some of my favourite East Midlands suppliers to bring this shoot to life. We were lucky enough to have the Save the Date Event Stylist team on board, who just so happened to have a showroom at The Pumping House in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire. They know the owners well, who allowed us to use their venue as the location for the photoshoot. The Pumping House is a relatively new, exclusive wedding venue. It’s a renovated pumping station, with beautiful tiling and parquet flooring throughout. Set in the Sherwood Forest, it provided a beautiful backdrop to our theme. As all suppliers collaborated on this shoot, we decided to introduce copper and peach hues to lift the colour palette. The fusion of dusky blue, copper and peach colours made this into beautiful spring wedding inspiration. It’s always such a rewarding experience seeing your ideas come to life, and it certainly did not disappoint this time.
