If you're a fan of more alternative bridal looks, then this beyond-fabulous editorial shoot at Recommended venue Elmley Nature Reserve featuring the most breathtaking silver sparkly wedding dress will be right up your edgy street. It's not the only dress on the cards, either. This shoot actually features three unique, spectacular gowns - one of which is from Recommended supplier Story Of My Dress. Wanting to capture the atmosphere and palpable connection between the couple, this shoot is equal parts luxurious, beautiful, fun, and stylish. Paired with the dress was an awe-inspiring veil from Recommended supplier Ashley Wild Bridal. The neutral-luxe florals tied together the theme perfectly, and that's all thanks to Recommended supplier Moody Blooms. The tablescapes and tableware from Recommended supplier Black Saucers also added that little bit of je ne sais quoi (bilingual queen!) to the simple yet elegant styling. And if it weren't for Recommended supplier Olegs & Rita Photography doing such a phenomenal job in capturing the vibrant love and chicness, we wouldn't be here gazing upon these photos today.
We shot at Elmley Nature Reserve, a beautiful, natural venue. We wanted to show how important different venue areas are for special moments. At Elmley, couples have the whole of Kingshill Farm and have the pick of many beautiful locations to celebrate in. There is SO much more to a wedding than the classic bits. We particularly wanted to capture those moments that we don’t always get to see... Like being silly when they’ve snuck off together. Or at the end of the night with a cup of tea and a cuddle!

We wanted to tell the story of the wedding day and those crazy emotions...The bridal preparation nerves, the ‘we’ve just got married!!’ giggles, the end of the night tired contentment, and all the tender moments and joy throughout. The styling gave a special backdrop to this love story, creating gorgeous, natural and romantic moments. The styling was therefore traditional and natural, romantic and earthy. That, with a vibrant, modern thread reflecting a beautiful, fun venue, and complementing the couple's emotional connection. The natural ceramic bud vases were a gorgeous touch. The seasonal flowers gave elegance with the freshness and pop of Spring.

For styling, we were going for beautiful and elegant, with a modern vibe adding some fun. The dresses were chosen to enhance the feeling at each moment of the day. Simple and elegant, yet carefree. Perfect for bridal preparations in the elegant farmhouse wedding suite and silly moments between the couple. The beautiful feather veil complemented the looks and the Nature Reserve ideally. We particularly loved the twist of the oversized satin bow against the sequins. The sparkles & glam worked brilliantly with the black rustic barn! the playful, party feel was just right for that end-of-the-night feeling. We also wanted to show how powerful and emblematic jewellery is for a marriage celebration. Chloe May's timeless jewellery added simple, sophisticated luxury that just worked with any styling and setting.

Sparkly goodness. Nature at its finest. Incredible accessories. We are entirely obsessed with this editorial shoot. Never in our lives have we wanted to be a piece of furniture in a shoot so badly - just to be able to take in the vibes alongside the couple. The silver sparkly wedding dress is a knock-out, through and through. If you fancy something more alternative on your big day, then our article on alternative bridal outfits will help. Or was it that huge satin bow that had you bow-ing over (not my best pun work, apologies)? Our wedding hair accessories article has lots more inspiration where that came from.
