Silent Disco Wedding

Silent Disco Wedding at Yosemite

Photography by Morgan Sessions

Silent disco wedding? In Yosemite? Yes. Please. Brittany & Brodi took their personalities and ran with them, ensuring their big day incorporated everything they love in one. The vibe of their day was rustic wilderness, with modern and retro accents. Growing up in Arizona, the desert holds a special place in Brittany’s heart, and allowed for this to flow into their styling and theme. Working alongside Recommended Supplier, Willa Via, this gorgeous couple and their incredible planner put together a wedding that is truly a work of art. For immaculate vibes and couples portraits that will leave you speechless, keep scrolling… trust us.

I think what made our wedding day unique was that is spoke to exactly who Brodi and I are as a couple and as individuals. From our choreographed disco styled first date to our sequin jumpsuits, it was exactly us. It also wasn't just 8 hours of a wedding, it was an entire weekend filled with love, family, friends and disco. We incorporated so much of our friends and families talent into our wedding to truly make it a family affair.

FAVOURITE MOMENT

Dinner was our personal favourite for multiple reasons. It was tucked away from the rest of Autocamp and had its own space away from the Clubhouse or any other guests. Along with that, it was seeing our vision all come together in that moment. The playlists we made, succulents we travelled with, colour schemes, vibe, our love for farm to table food, and the most important ingredient; the energy our friends and family brought. It was a magical moment that we sat back to take in and burn into our memories.

ADVICE

Take your time, there's nothing wrong with a longer engagement. Not only is it more budget friendly giving you time to shop around, you're able to plan and pick everything you can envision for that day. Yes, unaccounted things still come up but they are definitely minimised. Lastly, don't settle or compromise on YOUR day. When the weekend comes, do not worry about it being perfect. You are the only person who knows what it is supposed to look like! Don't stress, go with the flow, and enjoy every moment.

Willa Via was our wedding planner. She was an absolute dream and our wedding would not have been the same without her. We planned this wedding together for over two years, so by the time the wedding weekend came around she knew exactly what I had envisioned and ran with it. The weekend was perfect and flowed seamlessly.
