Georgie & Sam chose to have a gorgeous autumnal wedding day! To enhance the season, they chose seasonal flowers with lots of sunflowers all created by Recommended supplier, Moody Blooms! Sunflowers are not only Georgie's fave flower, but they also have a secret and sentimental meaning to the couple. Recommended supplier, Nicola Dawson Photography, was responsible for capturing all the beautiful autumnal colours and special moments. The couple also used Recommended supplier Flutter, Darlings! for their confetti, which was worth it because those confetti shots turned out so good!
Throughout the planning process we were mindful of giving consistent briefs to all suppliers, so everyone had the same vision for the day. We had a clear idea of how we wanted the day, but suppliers’ suggestions were incredibly helpful, especially when finalising all the small details. Don’t rush when searching for suppliers, we went with our gut and chose people who were great communicators and made us feel at ease.

The autumnal colour scheme and seasonal flowers made Georgie & Sam's day so memorable. They chose to have sunflowers as this is Georgie's favourite flower and has special meaning to them both. The overall theme was rustic and autumnal, emphasising bright, seasonal English florals. Colour was a big thing for Georgie & Sam. They drew inspiration from the venue and asked for furniture and props that would complement the venue's rural aesthetic. Those seasonal flowers also decorated that gorgeous naked wedding cake!
The beautiful new glasshouse at The Bull made Georgie & Sam's wedding unique because they were the first couple to use the space for both ceremony and wedding breakfast! The couple first fell in love with the 14th-century hotel in March 2020 and knew it was the one! The glasshouse helped to bring the outside in. It’s the perfect venue to celebrate the Kent countryside. It also makes the perfect space for a golden hour photoshoot! An aerial filming specialist captured some footage of the couple enjoying the moment!
We created a different playlist for different parts of the day to match the mood. We had about eight different Spotify playlists we shared with our wedding coordinator at the venue. Vitamin String Quartet covers were used to unify our music tastes during the ceremony. For the drinks reception, we had a 3-piece band and for the evening we had a 7-piece band. They elevated the mood and got everyone dancing!
