Scandi, Modern & Minimalist

Blue can be a tricky colour to work into a wedding scheme, but this shoot does it perfectly. Carousel Spaces offers the perfect modern and minimal blank canvas for Scandi styling and Laura at Holden Bespoke has executed her vision perfectly. Laura the Stylist: This shoot starts and ends with Scandi inspiration. This amazing London venue, Carousel, is well known for their incredible food but the minimalist Scandi aesthetic that runs throughout the venue is very cool. Jessica Withey did an incredible job of capturing every detail, from the striking flower crown in the brides’ hair to the incredible pattern hand painted on the cake by Sugared Saffron. The video created behind the scenes by This Modern Revelry has just the right feel to it – laid back music and gorgeously simple shots. The style of the whole shoot is modern and contemporary but with just a hint of on-trend Hygge. I wanted to work with the surroundings to create a slightly boho-influenced Scandi feel and with florists Scarlet & Violet we created lots of texture in the venue to do just that. The indigo of the flowers and stationery by Sailor & Scout contrasts gorgeously with the pale and darker woods and creates a modern, clean and contemporary laid back vibe - ideal for couples looking for central London chic.
