A Savin London wedding dress at the Villa Di Ulignano? Utter. Perfection. What could be better than a wedding day bathed in sunshine alongside the Tuscan countryside? Quite frankly, we can’t think of anything. Well, unless you add an Aperol Spritz in there, then it may just take the lead… Charlotte & Neil were the first couple allowed to go ahead with their Italian wedding after restrictions lifted - and we’re so glad they were! Working with incredible Recommended Suppliers, Wiskow & White, they curated a stunning day complete with a relaxed but glamorous vibe, featuring a black-tie dress code and a reception tablescape straight out of an editorial. All we can say is; it’s a vibe. It’s a real vibe.
The relief in getting the green light to go ahead after we’d committed so much time (and money) without the certainty it could happen was immense. It created such a unique atmosphere at the wedding amongst all the guests. Finally there after 18 months of Covid!

We worked with Wiskow & White to find suppliers who would suit our vibe and be suitable for a wedding in Italy. Catering, photography and entertainment were three main areas we knew we wanted to nail, so we spent a long time finding the right suppliers. We used Instagram to see their prior work which was really helpful in visualising if they would be suitable for the day.
Very hard to pick one moment of the day! Despite it being a July wedding in Italy, the rain decided to make an appearance in the middle of our dinner… outside. Taking our ‘sunset pictures’ dancing in the rain was actually quite magical - that, coupled with guests and suppliers drying dance floors and changing timings around so we could still make it outside to party once the shower passed! Your wedding is what you make of it, and sometimes the things out of your control end up creating the best memories.
With it being in Tuscany we really wanted to bring some Italian glamour to the music. Our wedding planners connected us with an Opera singer. He actually shot to social media fame during Italy’s first lockdown as the ‘Italian Balcony Singer’. During the wedding dinner, as the sun was setting, he surprised everyone by singing live from the balcony. It was really magical hearing an Italian tenor singing opera classics to our open-mouthed guests.

This Savin wedding dress is the perfect number for a Tuscan wedding. We love the V-neck cut to the front and the delicate detailing of the skirt. Take a look at this stunning two-piece gown from Alexandra Grecco, complete with puffed sleeves for a little more destination gown inspiration!
