Sarah & Chris tied the knot at Recommended Venue, Shoreditch Studios in London, a stunning blank canvas venue that the couple turned into a pink disco heaven. Of course, with beautiful pink and orange flowers by Recommended Supplier, Honey Bunch, disco balls, confetti canons, smoke flares, and a champagne tower, we just had to say yes to sharing this wedding. It is full of energy and everything we love at Rock My Wedding. The DJ played from 10.30 pm to the early hours with glow sticks to boot! It’s safe to say that EVERYONE had a good time at this wedding and we’re having the best time writing about it! The couple also chose Recommended Supplier, Prezola, for their honeymoon fund.
Sarah - The wedding breakfast was one of my favourite moments. When everyone stood up singing and dancing in between courses to song requests. Seeing all my favourite people in one room celebrating and having the best time filled me with so much love.
Chris - For me, it was when our daughter walked down the aisle with her cousin as a flower girl and the page boy. When she saw me she shouted, “Daddy!” and ran to me in the most heartwarming way (she was 22 months old).

Colourful Black Tie London Wedding at Shoreditch Studios
This wedding is just gorgeous! Sarah & Chris’ wedding at Shoreditch Studios offered a relaxed, fun-filled, high-energy atmosphere to guests with chic wedding fashion. We’re of course talking about Sarah’s stunning Suzanne Neville wedding dress and those fun patterned bridesmaid dresses. The couple had 120 of their loved ones to celebrate with them. The main aim was to eat, drink lots, and have an epic party. To help with this, ‘piano animal’ Michael Moore, played piano and sung live requests from guests all day. He brought the high energy vibe from start to finish and it was loved. For their music, the couple chose Stevie Wonder, Luke Combs and Queen to set the tone. For readings, Sarah & Chris chose Winnie The Pooh and Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, which they found on Rock My Wedding.
Do everything exactly as you want it to and don’t feel like you have to give reasons as to why you made the decisions you did. Finally, enjoy every moment of the day, your guests won’t expect to spend loads of time with you as they will be off having lots of fun at the wedding you put your all into creating, so take the time to be present, party hard together and enjoy it all!
Sarah & Chris
We asked Sarah & Chris for some planning advice for engaged couples and they said, “To avoid an overwhelming list of things to complete close to your big day, try to do one thing a week. Treat it as a weekly date night and use it as an opportunity to get excited about the wedding together alongside ticking something off your list!” We have a few more methods for managing wedding planning stress to help you feel as prepared as you can be going into your wedding day.
