Step right into dreamland at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Having celebrated New Year's there in 2019, Jade & Matt felt like it was the right place to say their I do’s. As they consider themselves to be a relaxed and earthy couple, they opted for plenty of earthy greens and potted plants, with a mixture of travel aspects, such as postcards! Having followed Recommended Supplier, Cara Zagni Photography, for a while, it was a no-brainer that she would capture their wedding day. We’re also loving their wedding favours, which are luggage tags, but of course, work as name cards also!
Champagne pops make for amazing photos, but use ‘Nozeco’ to keep the cost down!
Matt & Jade
Being a Bristol-based couple, the idea of planning a wedding in Scotland was slightly daunting to Matt & Jade! So, they enlisted the help of Lavender Blue Weddings, who were able to plan their wedding. Alongside this came a list of suppliers! It’s always a great idea to speak to your wedding venue (or planner) if you’re unsure where to begin when looking for your suppliers.
“Matt and I made a promise before we planned our wedding. We promised that we wanted to make the process fun and enjoy it. Please, don’t let stress take the joy out of planning your wedding. It will come together - I promise! Secondly, don't people please. We kept our wedding small and intimate. We only invited people who have been an active part of our love story.” Jade & Matt
All of our suppliers have become friends. We actually invited them all to stay for our reception and party with us (which most of them did).
Matt & Jade
The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh provided a beautiful setting for Matt & Jade’s wedding. Of course, we can’t get enough of those green bridesmaid jumpsuits and tartan coverups! Their hand-fasting ceremony was also incredibly personal to them, and that green foliage archway is just the icing on the cake!
