Harriet & Sam had a beautiful wedding at the unique Recommended venue, Rhyse Farm! Their day features a stunning embellished wedding dress from Recommended supplier, Made With Love, an outdoor humanist and handfasting ceremony, stunning disco ball styling that was all planned by Recommended supplier, Georgina Rose Events, and some epic group photos captured by Recommended supplier, Patrick Partridge Photography! This wedding is such a vibe and looks epic!
We chose a lot of our suppliers based on how we connected with them when we first spoke. We wanted to have people around us that we got on really well with and trusted, and they all added so much joy to our day. It was important to us to not feel like we were “just another wedding”.
Harriet & Sam
Harriet & Sam wanted their day to be full of love and laughter, and the evening to be full of dancing and tequila! Rhyse Farm is such a beautifully unique wedding venue, so when styling the couple wanted to keep it quite simple. They dry-hired beautiful table runners, napkins and disco balls. Although, they did want to do as much of the decor as possible by themselves as possible. Harriet’s Aunt Jan gifted their wedding cake, which featured a handmade ornament of their dog, Bertie. Jan also did all of the flower arrangements, bouquets and buttonholes. The beautiful dahlias in the bouquets were grown in her garden. Instead of favours, the couple chose to make a donation to their local animal shelter where they adopted Bertie from.
Harriet & Sam's day at Rhyse Farm felt unique to them as they included so many personal touches. The couple designed their own stationery and sourced a lot of their decor, such as buying glass bottles from vintage markets and spray painting them. Plus, not many people walk down the aisle to Talking Heads on acoustic guitar! Harriet & Sam ended their night on stage leading the mosh pit to Rage Against the Machine! A couple of other standout moments from the day include being introduced into the room before the wedding breakfast, getting to their table and having a boogie with everyone joining in and the first dance. The couple were both anxious about it, but letting off a confetti cannon helped, and now they have an amazing photo!
Trust your gut and your suppliers! Patrick Partridge Photography told us ahead of the wedding, “You set the vibe for the day, so just have fun with it.” And that really stuck with us. Faye, our celebrant, also reminded us that everyone there is cheering us on. It’s so easy to get caught up stressing about the little details, but it’s you and your guests that make the day special.

What also made Harriet & Sam's Rhyse Farm wedding unique and personal was their humanist and handfasting ceremony. Whatever traditions you do or don't want to do at your wedding are completely your decision and we're here to encourage you to have Your Day, Your Way!
