Pretty in pink? More like pretty in purple! These purple flower girl dresses were certainly a highlight of this garden party wedding at Pylewell Park. Captured by our Recommended supplier, Grace Elizabeth, this day looks incredible! From its own glamping village located on the grounds of the country house to the grand firework display finale, Heidi and Olly's day was sublime. But it gets even more amazing as the couple replanned their wedding in ten days based on changing government guidelines about Covid! This magical day was also filmed by another Recommended supplier, Lewis Adger. The couple used our Recommended supplier, Prezola, for their gift list.
We created a Glamping village for some guests to stay in, whilst others stayed in the main house. The majority of guests arrived on Friday afternoon for lawn games, drinks and pizza. This was the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and family before the event - especially after the pandemic limited us from seeing them all for so long.
Heidi & Olly
Heidi and Olly created their own Glamping village! The couple utilised the venue and embraced what it could offer as a gorgeous country house, so opted for a garden party vibe. Pylewell Park allows their couples to forage within the grounds and Heidi and Olly used what they found for their table decorations alongside their mini plant favours. These mini palms, eucalyptus and lavender plant favours were hand-grown! This venue also has a private beach where the newlyweds could enjoy a quiet moment to reflect on the day, whilst starring in some beautiful photos.
The white lace and purple flower girl dresses are to die for! The six flower girls had gypsophila in their hair and look so cute! We think that all weddings should have a minimum of six flower girls after seeing these pictures. Dried lavender was also used with all the place names. The purple theme from the flowers to flower girl dresses is such a vibe! But these girls aren’t the only thing making our hearts melt. Olly and Heidi had fireworks towards the end of the night to go alongside a special track made by the groom. After the fireworks had finished, you could see the word 'love' within the smoke trails. Awww!
We spent a lot of time looking for our suppliers, as we weren't local to our venue. We utilised online groups and Facebook recommendations. Olly spent hours looking for the perfect band. We met through music so this was going to be an important part of our wedding.
