Provençal Dreaming At Chateau De Roussan

Getting married in Provence is truly the stuff of romantic dreams, and today Jo Bradbury and her amazing team of wedding creatives have brought that dream to reality with this dreamy inspiration shoot. We love the simple beauty of an olive leaf and the team have used this throughout the whole shoot, creating a cohesive style perfectly suited to their sun kissed surroundings. I'm swooning hard over the dresses from Joanne Flemming too, the fabrics and colours are so striking. Chateau De Roussan, Provence Wedding Venue

Chateau De Roussan sits on the edge of the very beautiful town of St Remy De Provence, along a country lane and at the end of an avenue of Plane Trees. It is exactly how you imagine a French Chateau should be, full of old world glamour and idyllic terraces and gardens (its also the venue that Tom Hardy is rumoured to have married at) and it sang to me when I was searching for an archetypal French Chateau for this styled shoot. With a Fine Art bride in mind, myself and Anneka Sanghera set about organising this shoot, it had to be romantic, stylish and reflective of the beautiful French surroundings. We chose olive leaves as a theme, they are such an iconic image associated with Provence, and there is something about their shade of grey/green that is so photogenic. Emma Jo Stationery focused on their beautiful shape and colour for the stationery suite. Florence from Les Fleurs De Ninon (based in Provence) went above and beyond to create an abundance of floral and foliage designs fit for a Chateau Wedding.

Joanne Flemming Dresses

Jo Fleming's dresses were made for French Chateaus, her design and detailing is incredible and it was an absolute joy to photograph these dream dresses. One of the huge benefits of organising a shoot like this is meeting and working with other wedding suppliers, I got to know some wonderfully creative wedding industry folk who are working in the Provence/South of France area and who I wouldn't hestitate to recommend to Brides thinking of getting married in the South of France.
