booze bath at Preston Court wedding

Preston Court Wedding With Booze Bath

Photography by Hollie Carlin Photography

We’re starting off this one by saying two words…booze bath! That’s right, Tasmin & Ant married at Recommended Venue, Preston Court, and decided to do things entirely their way. This meant including a bath full of booze, a shot seating plan, and fairground games, with streamers and disco balls galore. Recommended Supplier, Streamadelica, provided the streamers and the decor was by Recommended Supplier, The Little Wedding Warehouse. It’s safe to say, this wedding was one hell of a party. It was all captured by the couple’s close friend and our fabulous Recommended Supplier, Hollie Carlin Photography! Opting for a bespoke ceremony run by Recommended Supplier, Bex the Celebrant, Tasmin & Ant’s day was truly a reflection of them! Of course, we have to mention Tasmin’s gorgeous wedding dress by Recommended Supplier, Made With Love.

I'm in the wedding industry so I already had an idea of who I wanted, and we had a stylist who sourced some suppliers for us. But your platform is amazing, I have followed Rock My Wedding for a while as it's great for inspiration!

Booze Bath

The vibe for Tasmin & Ant’s day was red, pink and disco balls! To quote their stylist, the day’s styling was 'Barbie but make it Vogue'. Tasmin always had a vision in her head and worked with the stylist to completely bring it to life. It was better than the couple ever could have imagined! Guests described the day as very 'them'. Tasmin & Ant are not very traditional and neither were fussed about having a 'timeless' wedding. They just wanted a laid-back, fun day that reflected them as a couple. They’ve certainly achieved just that! They filled Preston Court with a kissing booth, a booze bath, a shot seating plan, and plenty of fairground games.

Personal Touches

The ceremony was definitely a highlight for both Tasmin & Ant. Choosing a celebrant was one of the best decisions they made because they both wanted a laid-back day that focused on them as a couple. With a celebrant and bespoke ceremony, the day wouldn't have been the same. For their reading, the couple had Falling In Love Is Like Owning a Dog by Taylor Mali. The DIY moment of this day came from Ant. Ant is a graphic designer and designed all the stationery and signage himself! The couple kept things informal with the speeches and had them on the carousel at Preston Court!

Focus on what is important to you both as a couple and do what you want to do. Also, take a moment to yourselves away from the madness. Have time to take it all in because the whole day really does flash before your eyes!
