Usually, when you think of autumn you think of browns and oranges, but today's intimate ceremony is bursting with white and pink wedding flowers. And... a stunning pink wedding dress with matching veil! The day was full of Hindu traditions and love, plus, Niraj and Sejel's fluffy puppy, who was also dressed for the occasion. Priya and Robbie (in our real wedding archives) also wore killer outfits and mixed Hindu rituals with modern twists. Worth checking out for more inspiration once you've pored over this micro wedding.
Having a COVID wedding meant that we had huge restrictions on guestlist numbers. Our wedding turned out to be a very intimate ceremony, with everyone taking part with lots of laughter, fond memories and even some tears of joy! Friends and family from all over the world joined in online from Zoom. Our Bichon Frise dog (Siya) was also there as Maid of Honour.Niraj & Sejel
We love Autumn and so we chose October for our wedding. We chose Northbrook Park for their stunning gardens, the roaming peacocks and for the beautiful Vine room, where the ceremony was held. We wanted the day to be meaningful yet fun, and so we chose styles that represented our culture and tradition but also our personalities. Sejel's dress was multicoloured with a contemporary Bardot style top, a floral pattern and came with a matching coloured veil. In order to make the outfit more traditional Sejel changed the colour of her veil to red. Our priest Ram Pandey was a very integral element of our day. Not only was he our priest but he became a friend that we could call on at any time.Niraj & Sejel
Every couple has their own journey and their own style. Listen to all, take advice from all, but try to make your decision with what is best for you as a couple. Remember it is your day!Niraj & Sejel
