Nancarrow Farm Wedding in February with Bridal Jumper & Braided Updo

A cosy February wedding at one of our recommended venues, Nancarrow Farm, in Cornwall. The rustic barn ceremony, which was interrupted by an almighty hailstorm, was followed by an equally beautiful wedding breakfast where local produce was served during a delicious meal! The bride chose a lace detail Catherine Parry bridal gown teamed with a delicate braided updo, later adding a cosy knit jumper to keep the Winter chill out. The blush bridal jumper (that we love so much by the way!) matched that of her bridesmaids and the soft pink hues of the bouquets and flower arrangements.

What Made Our Day Unique
The people by far. Our bridal party, family, extended friends and all of our truly wonderful suppliers including the team at Nancarrow who made the whole day an absolute dream. Now more than ever as we enter into the second month of marriage, week 6 of isolation (!) we are so incredibly grateful that we got the wedding in just in time & had such a magical day. Everyone left stuffed full of delicious food & full of so much love.

Nancarrow Farm is an idyllic venue in Truro, Cornwall, the picturesque backdrop was the perfect choice for this Winter wedding. Little decor was needed to make the day perfect, the charm of the venue spoke for itself, with this couple making sure anything they added completely complemented what was already there, using a soft colour palette, fresh flowers, romantic candles as well as the handmade paper used for the order of the day!

Inspiration & Styling
In terms of inspiration, the backdrop of Nancarrow provided so much we really didn't have to do a lot. The venue has so much raw character & charm. We made sure everything worked with the simplicity of the venue & paired natural candles, handmade paper & fresh flowers to make our personal touches just as organic as the space.
