DESERT ELOPEMENT

"Why not adventure and elope to the desert, just you, your beau and the camels!! More and more nowadays, we are seeing exotic dream set-ups of couples eloping to wild and magical destinations, and 2019 was the year of escaping to the desert. But maybe you don’t want to travel for hours and hours into the middle of the Sahara? Then no fear, because the Luxury desert camp Agafay is just a short trip from Marrakesh. While it’s not far from the city, you still feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere; enjoy that wonderful sense of isolation, surrounded by golden honeycomb hills as far as the eye can see. Complete with luxury tents, running water and- believe it or not- even free WIFI, who said desert camping had to be rough!? At night you can sit around the fire with a glass (or in our case, a bottle!) of wine, and gaze up dreamily at the infinite stars." - Rebecca Carpenter Photography

Moroccan Wedding

It may be a while before we can pack our bags and jet set off for destination elopements, but there's nothing stopping us from drawing inspiration from this fabulous Moroccan wedding theme. Ok, so a camel might be hard to come by, but just imagine a chill out area full of woollen rugs and pouffes plus a plethora of dried flowers and grasses. Sounds good eh?! It really is. All the details have been captured beautifully by Rebecca Carpenter Photography. Plus the wonderful desert and sunset, because we all need a little escapism every now and then.

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"With planning by Nicola Dixon from The Wild One’s she sets up the perfect editorial sure to inspire couples to follow their hearts desire and escape to the desert of dreams. The styling and florals by Cara Creative Co was stunning, and I’m just in love with this perfect sweetheart table set up for two. With Miriam wearing the most beautiful delicate gown by Grace Loves Lace, and a striking headpiece fit for a queen by Tilly Thomas Lux, this shoot is the ultimate desert fantasy brought to life." - Rebecca Carpenter Photography
