Max Mara Dress for Greek Wedding in Olive Grove with Macarame Decor

We thought we would bring a little bit of sunshine to you this Wednesday morning, with this Greek wedding where the bride wore a sleek Max Mara dress. The bright and beautiful ceremony with a pink floral arch was followed by a sensational sit-down meal in the depths of an old olive grove, lit up with festoon lighting. As if that wasn't gorgeous enough, macrame decorated the chairs and archways with rugs, large lanterns, blush florals and deep purple glassware adding to the finishing touches. Having spent three days with most of their guests, the small intimate celebration was the cherry on top of the (wedding) cake!

What Made Our Day Unique
Our wedding day was such a magical day... I honestly believe that it was such a special occasion due to the fact that it was a rather “small “gathering of people (at least for Greek standards), only family and close friends. The fact that the majority of our guests were there with us for a least 3 days prior to the ceremony which meant that we had our summer holidays together was simply precious.

Max Mara

Zoe saw the Max Mara bride dress online and knew instantly that it was 'the one'. Having not been able to get it out of her head, she and her (now) husband drove to Milan and bought it! The simple design ruffle detail dress looks so elegant and is the perfect choice to complement the old Greek olive grove venue. Teamed with her natural curls and a pair of classic red sole.

Inspiration & Styling
The inspiration behind the styling was guided from the natural scenery. We wanted to adapt to the natural colors and vibes. The olive trees, the old olive grove as well as the stony church led us to a rather boho styling.
