Jeanine and David wanted their cultural backgrounds reflected in all aspects of their day. So they included mariachi band wedding entertainment, a traditional Peruvian cocktail, and complimentary tequila shots. Guests travelled from over 7 different countries to attend their special day at our Recommended venue Tythe Barn. It was styled to perfection by, Recommended supplier, Ambience Venue Styling UK, with fairy lights, milk churns and flower clouds, which you just have to see. Captured by Recommended photographer, Marcus Rice Photography, this multicultural wedding will leave you feeling happy, inspired and perhaps a little tipsy if you were in attendance...
You have probably heard this a million times already but...don't stress over the small things! If there is anything you are particularly worried about, assign a trusted bridesmaid to keep an eye out for it. I really wanted polaroid pics from all our guests, so I had my friend take ownership of our Instax, and she had lots of fun with it. We love being able to look back at all of the pictures now!

Right after the wedding breakfast, the couple had a mariachi band wedding entertainment. The band accompanied the guests outside so that the venue would be able to turn the room around for the evening. Whilst they were playing, the guests were encouraged into fun impromptu dancing. We think giving everyone a tequila shot as soon as they started playing probably explains the dancing. So technically, Jeanine and David's first dance wasn't really their first dance, thanks to the mariachi band & those cheeky tequila shots. Marcus, the wedding photographer, suggested getting out the sparklers then instead of the traditional sparkler send-off and both that moment and the photos resulting from it are just amazing! The Mariachis stole the show (we might have to agree) and everyone loved them!
Jeanine and David had guests travelling from 7 different countries! Some of them travelled from as far as Mexico, Canada, and the US. They made sure their different cultural backgrounds were reflected in all aspects of their day. The couple wanted a more relaxed vibe on their day, so a romantic, rustic yet elegant setting was essential to them. We have to say the flowers, candles and decoration captured that vibe perfectly. The flower cloud is a showstopper! Jeanine and David brought across their different international backgrounds by having their wedding in Oxfordshire, England with mariachi band wedding entertainment, tequila, and dishes representing Germany, Peru and Mexico.
I did a lot of scrolling through the Rock My Wedding Instagram and kept comparing venues. We ended up choosing Tythe Barn in Launton, partially also because of all the stunning venue pictures we had seen on the Rock My Wedding website! Also - if you do have a different cultural background and want to experiment with drinks, don't be afraid to do so! We did Pisco Sours (a traditional Peruvian cocktail) for our reception. It is a fairly particular taste, so I was a little nervous that those unfamiliar with it would not enjoy them, but everyone loved them.
